Customer Reviews
Overall:
It was a pleasurable experience. The owner was very helpful and anxious to please.
Enjoyed Most:
The aura of staying in a 15th century villa was very exciting. The owner along with his mother were very pleasant.
Enjoyed Least:
There was always something going on at the villa. One day it was a small parade group that started at the villa, walked to the church, and then returned to the villa for lunch. Another day they were getting ready for a wedding that afternoon so they started cutting the grass around 8:30am.
Surrounding Area:
Once you drove a little way you were able to see some beautiful walled towns. A longer drive took you into the mountains which were spectacular. We thought it was close to Venice it's not that close. The best way to get there is to take a 45 minute train ride.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Levada, which only had a church and great bakery was within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
The owner had many suggestions - a lot in Venice, which we only visited once, one or two local restaurants.
