Enjoyed Most:
Great space in the property, you could see Portofino very well from the apartment. The gardens were well kept, and the owner left an instructions book with everything you could possibly need to know.
Enjoyed Least:
The apartment was at the top of a steep hill. As we had rented a minbus it was hard to drive up due to vehicles being parked along the way to one side. But it was a very secure place to stay with locked gates only accessed by a key.
Surrounding Area:
The area was beautiful with lots of shops, and market stalls on a Saturday morning along the main beach front.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Rapallo was at the bottom of the hill a three minutes' drive away. You could also walk down between the apartments and houses, which is a pleasant walk, but with lots of steps. Although it only took ten minutes, maybe it is not too good for small children or someone old because it was uneven in places.
Tips or Restaurants:
Take a translation book as all menus are in Italian.

Overall:
It's perfect for adults ... OK for children too.
Enjoyed Most:
It has magical views. It is right in the center of Liguria province, next to Portofino, and Cinque Terre.
Enjoyed Least:
The property sits atop of a steep hill. Although there is a private shuttle taking residents to the city, it is not flexible enough ... so we had to walk up the hill a few times.
Surrounding Area:
Liguria is Italy at its best ... nature, culture and history have come together to create an authentic Italian experience.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring your own entertainment electronics and content.
