Enjoyed Most:
The village of Colerne was an ancient, quiet town.
Unpleasant Surprises:
It was adjacent to a 600 year old cemetary. Not a house for the easily spooked. The maintenance was not as good as our first property. The kitchen wasn't totally clean, and the bathroom had a mildewy shower curtain. There was only one roll of toilet paper and one extra trash bag. We ran out of laundry detergent. No tumble dryer but the weather was nice so it was okay to hang the laundry outside.
Surrounding Area:
The village was wonderful. We were on the property of a gorgeous manor house. Loved the church bells.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Colerne. Yes, we were right in town.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring your own toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent and travel tips.
