An excellent choice by any means, this Sicily villa for a family is near to town as well as a large estate where the adults can go wine tasting. Does this make you wonder about the kids? Not to worry! There are 7,000 year old caves that will strike the interest of all ages making vacations in Sicily fun for the whole group! Plus, back at home this accommodation has a private swimming pool and great views, making it the perfect setting for an outdoor meal.
- Location Description
- The villa is located two kilometers from the town of Vallelunga, where there are restaurants, cafes, markets, banks, and shops. The Regaleali Estate, which is a 10 to 15 minute drive from the villa, is a large winery of 1,200 acres and is one of the leading makers of today's Sicilian wine. In addition to wine tasting, the estate also makes ricotta and pecorino cheese that are available for tasting as well. The nearby town of Alia is famous for their 7,000 year-old caves of Gurfa, where people once lived long ago, and Mussomeli is known for the Chiaramonte Castle, which was built in the 1300's. The castle has large halls, dungeons, and a chapel. Agrigento is a great place to go for a day trip, as it is home of the renowned Valley of the Temples, ancient and sacred buildings definitely worth a visit.

- Exterior Description
- Surrounded by olive groves as well as the villa's very own vineyard, this accommodation was built in the 1970's and is situated in a very quiet area of Sicily. On the patio are sun loungers, umbrellas, a covered table with chairs, a barbecue, and a small, private aboveground swimming pool (7m x 1.5m). Accessible via both an external and internal staircase is a balcony overlooking the patio, olive groves, and vineyard that is furnished with chairs. The property is gated and a tree-covered walkway leads to the patio and entrance of the villa. Private parking is available outside.
- Interior Description
- Ground floor: The living room has a sofa, a sofa bed (suitable for one), a coffee table and a TV (local channels only). The dining area has a table with chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, toaster, and washing machine. There is one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First floor: There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, a sofa, and French doors that open to the balcony. The second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds and French doors that open to the balcony. There is one bathroom with a sink, toilet, bidet, and shower with a tub.
