Fantastic villa - Sonia was a great chef and prepared many Caribbean dishes for us - we were never disappointed with the food.
Enjoyed Most:
The privacy, the pool right outside the door, the beach right across the street.
Surrounding Area:
The Bajan ambiance and beauty of the Caribbean.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Either Holetown or Speightstown, neither within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
It is preferable to rent a car for store visits, trips with Sonia to the fish market, and general sightseeing.
Directions:
If you just follow the coast north to Mullins Beach, you can't miss it.

Overall:
Wonderful experience, the villa was even more then we had hoped for. When looking for a place to stay in Barbados for our wedding, we chose Villa Felicity. We had never stayed in a villa before, and we looked at many villas before making our selection. Villa Felicity met nearly everything we were looking for, so we booked for a week. We were not disappointed at all!We would highly recommend this villa to anyone.
Enjoyed Most:
Excellent location, beautifully landscaped, very roomy. The villa is wonderfully laid out. There are three en suite bedrooms upstairs, each with a high tech air conditioning unit, 50" plasma TV and walk in closet. The fourth bedroom is similar to a "granny unit" located on the lower level of the villa with its own entrance to the villa. This unit was also had all the amenities of the other three bedrooms, only the location is different.
Downstairs is the living room, dining room , kitchen, another bathroom and family room. The whole house is tiled and this is very nice when coming in from the pool. We opened up all the windows and doors during the day and took advantage of the nice breeze that blew through the house. We would lock up everything at night and use the air conditioners in our rooms when we slept.
Pictures do not do this villa justice, we had a concern that the family room would be too small. It was very ample, with a couch, three comfortable chairs, a game table with chairs and a 50" plasma TV.
The staff is absolutely fantastic and will treat you like royalty; they were especially great with the kids in our party, ages 5 and 6. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be. You choose your first night's dinner and first morning's breakfast before you arrive. Then you meet with the staff and plan your menu for the week. They give you a menu as a suggestion to help you plan, but they will cook whatever you request. We had some very picky eaters in our group, but everybody's needs were fully met.
Enjoyed Least:
The only drawback to the villa is that it is not ocean-front. However, the walk to beach takes less then a minute and you are in the softest sand on the planet.
Surrounding Area:
The location is top notch; you are located directly across from Mullins Beach, which is clean and well maintained. The area around the villa is very safe; we walked at night up and down the street and never once worried about anything. Less then half a mile from the villa is a Chinese restaurant called East Moon, we went there on recommendation when the Mullins Beach Bar was closed; you will not be disappointed, the food there is delicious.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Speightstown. You could take the bus or walk.
Tips or Restaurants:
Because we didn't have a car, the staff went to the grocery store for us to get what you had chosen to eat; we paid their cab fare and for groceries up front. We went one day ourselves to the grocery store and should you forget anything and not have a car, there is a mini mart right up the street which will have just about all you need. The staff do get a day off a week and half of another day; we were able to work out the schedule with them since we had our wedding planned for a day while we were there. We chose not to rent a car and hired cabs while we were there. The cab drivers stay with you the whole day, take you wherever you want and the rates are very, very reasonable. If you chose this option, I would highly recommend Terrvette Tours and Taxi Service. Everyone we used, really went out of there way to show us places and give us tips on local cuisine and weekly events.
If you chose to rent a car, please keep in mind you drive on the left side of the road, and the roads are very narrow. Milk and juice are sold in quarts in the local grocery stores, and they run out quickly, so make sure you buy a few. East Moon Chinese Cuisine about 1/4 of a mile from the villa is excellent.
Directions:
There are a lot of roundabouts and many streets are not named, but landmarks help when getting around
Check In Out:
Everything went smoothly. We had arranged transportation from the airport to the villa. When we arrived the staff was expecting us and we were instantly welcomed as if we had "come home".
