About The Experience

If you are traveling with a large group, this small complex, which includes a farmhouse and two outbuildings, provides three separate living rooms and kitchens. While it is great fun to travel with a large group, it is also nice to have the possibility of space and privacy. The property features a large private swimming pool surrounded by panoramic views and is located within an easy drive of San Gimignano.

Location Description

The property is located eight kilometers from the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano which dates back to the 10th century. San Gimignano is one of the most visited towns in Tuscany and is full of life and things to do. You are steps away from the famous towers, the 12th century Duomo, the People's Palace, and museums dedicated to artwork and archeology. There are also plenty of wine tasting tours, art galleries, shops, and delicious restaurants. Numerous celebrations and gatherings are held every year including a music festival featuring theater, ballet, and opera performances, and a Medieval Harvest festival where the people of San Gimignano dress up as knights and play medieval games and have tournaments. If you’d like to explore bigger cities in Italy, a local bus can take you to the town of Poggibonsi where there is a train station that can connect you to destinations like Siena, Florence, or Pisa.

Exterior Description

(400 hectares) Situated in a quiet position in the hills, this property consists of a farmhouse, outbuilding, and annex. There is a large landscaped garden and a private swimming pool (14m x 7m) surrounded by a sun deck with sun loungers and umbrellas. Access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road and parking is available within the property grounds.

Interior Description

Main Farmhouse
Ground floor: There is a living room with a fireplace, couches, and satellite TV. A dining area has a table with chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, and dishwasher. Nearby is a room with another table with chairs. There is one bedroom with two 90 cm single beds and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower on this floor.
First floor: A staircase leads up to another living room with a couch and five bedrooms. The first, second, and third bedrooms each have a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The fourth and fifth bedrooms each have a 180 cm king-sized bed (which can be separated to form two 90 cm single beds upon prior request) and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Outbuilding
Ground floor: There is a living room with a fireplace and sofa bed (most suitable for one) and a dining area with a table with chairs. The kitchen corner is equipped with an oven. There is a guest bathroom on this floor.
First floor: A staircase leads up to one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Annex
Ground floor: There is a living area with a couch, a dining area with a table and chairs, and a kitchen corner equipped with an oven and washing machine. One bedroom has a 140 cm double bed (which is most comfy for one and cozy for two) and the bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower.
