This villa in Tuscany features its own chapel and is the perfect destination to celebrate a wedding or special occasion. It’s situated on a large estate in a peaceful and picturesque setting overlooking the countryside. Cortona and Siena are easily reachable and the nearest hilltop town of Montepulciano is less than two kilometers away.

Location Description

The villa is located under 2 km from the center of Montepulciano, known for its great wine, Vino Nobile. Many of the town buildings date back to the 14th century but the castle is believed to date back to the year 715. Because Montepulciano's center is "car-free," it is easy to see the main sites, such as the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta and the Palazzo Comunale on foot. Of course, there are many restaurants, shops, and cafes to tempt you, as well. Great day trip destinations include Pienza, Cortona, Siena, and Arezzo.

Exterior Description

This villa dates back to the 18th century and features its own chapel that was built in 1700. The villa was once the residence of a noble family of Montepulciano. It features a garden full of flowers and trees. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs and a private swimming pool (12m x 6m) is surrounded by a grass-landscaped lawn with sun loungers and umbrellas. Access to the property is via a dirt road of 650 meters. Parking is available within the grounds.

Interior Description

Ground floor: The entrance leads to a small living room with couches and a dining room with a table and chairs. A second dining area has a table with chairs as well as a TV (local channels only), radio, and access to the garden. A kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, American coffee maker, and dishwasher. There is a storage room with a washing machine. Nearby is a service bathroom with a toilet.
First floor: A staircase leads up to a second living room with couches and chairs. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two 90 cm single beds. The second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower.
Second floor: A staircase leads up to five bedrooms. The first and second bedrooms each have a 160 cm queen-sized bed and share an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The third bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, a 90 cm single bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The fourth bedroom has two 90 cm single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The fifth bedroom is small and has a 90 cm single bed.
