    Customer Reviews

    Overall:
We had a wonderful time in Sorrento. This was one week out of four in Italy and it was the best. The whole area is splendid and the people are very friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of activities in the Area, Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast, Capri, etc. It was quite enjoyable to have a place of your own and to not have to share it with 500 other guests. The view from our villa was beautiful, overlooking the Bay of Naples, with Vesuvio in the background.
    Enjoyed Most:
The private pool was probably the best part, although everything was great. The weather was very hot, and after a day of sight-seeing, a private dip in your own pool was most refreshing.
    Enjoyed Least:
The bathrooms were our least favorite part. Being American, we are used to larger bathrooms than are found in Europe. The TV is quite outdated, although we did not come here to watch television. Also, there was no Internet access available and we were told that it wasn't working? We bought an Internet key from Wind (works better than TIM in this area). Editor's Note: There is Internet, but sometimes the weather can cause it to go out or to have a weak signal.
    Surrounding Area:
The entire peninsula is wonderful and beautiful. We visited Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Vesuvius and Pompeii. The views are spectacular and the people are very pleasant.
    Nearby Events or Locales:
The villa is located about half-way between Sorrento and Sant' Agata, about a 10-15 minute drive to either. Sant'Agata is much smaller, but has all the necessities, groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc, and you don't have the traffic of the larger Sorrento. A car is a must.
    Tips or Restaurants:
Most everything we needed was at the villa. There was hotel type hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher and dish soap. Not sure if they were left by previous renters or managers. We purchased replacements and left for the next lucky family. Carmine is the events planner for the property and was extremely helpful setting up tours and recommending restaurants. He is also a chef and prepares dinners at the villa. I highly suggest this option. It was a very enjoyable evening.
    Directions:
    We did use a GPS.
    Check In Out:
    Everything went very smoothly.
