This Paris apartment is located within walking distance of the Louvre, Les Halles, and Rue Montorgeuil. Originally two apartments, this accommodation has two living rooms, two kitchens, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms making it an ideal place for two couples.

Location Description

This apartment is located in the 1st arrondissement, home to one of Paris’s most renowned sights: the Louvre. Surrounding the Louvre (and this apartment!) are countless restaurants, shops, and markets. Other wonderful places to see in the neighborhood are the Jardin des Tuileries, which in addition to gardens and sculptures, have cafes, creperies, and a giant ferris wheel as well as the Musee de l’Orangerie. The Forum les Halles, once Paris’s primary market, is here as well as is Rue Montorgeuil, a car-free shopping zone with bakeries, boutiques, and restaurants. Within walking distance are the metro stops of Louvre-Rivoli and Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre, which serve the same line as the Champs Elysees.

Nearby Attractions: The city of Paris! Explore Paris on foot to find the hidden treasures of the city of light. Unknown too many are the Beehives of the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg – hit the beehives at the right time in the fall and you’ll be able to purchase the honey. The popular cocktail bar, Les Etages, has two “branches”, one located in the Marais; the other in St Germain. The covered market, Marche St.-Quentin, dates back to 1860, and has 30 plus stalls of mouth- watering cheese, baked goods, meats and more. La Perlerie is a tiny store offering bronze and silver bracelet and necklace charms and you can assemble your jewelry right in the store. For some of the best steak frites of Paris, stop by Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, known simply as l’Entrecôte, but expect a wait of at least a half-hour.

First Floor (no elevator) The entrance leads to the first living room, which has a sofa bed (most suitable for one) and cable TV. The open kitchen corner is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher as well as a bar with stools. A corridor leads to the second living room, which has a sofa bed (most suitable for one) and cable TV. The second open kitchen corner is equipped with a cook-top, oven, and microwave as well as a bar with stools. A hallway has a sofa bed (suitable for one) and cable TV. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size (160 cm) bed and an ensuite bathroom (separated by curtains) with a sink, shower, and separate toilet room. The second bedroom has a double bed (140 cm), which is comfy for one and cozy for two, and the second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower.

• Although common in France, a 140 cm bed may be considered small for two people by US standards.
