About The Experience

This beautiful villa on the edge of the Chianti region is composed of a renovated main house and hay loft. There are six bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and many amenities, including air conditioning, wireless internet, and a pizza oven. There are wonderful views over the Val d’Elsa from the garden and pool area. This estate is in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena, making it possible to reach the Chianti towns, as well as Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, and Certaldo.

Location Description

Poggibonsi, 8 km away, is the nearest town to the estate. Here you will find markets, shops, restaurants, and a small train station. Siena and San Gimignano, which are more charming destinations, are a further drive away. San Gimignano is well known for its towers and rich history dating back to Etruscan times. It is a wonderful place to wander and explore, and major sights include the 12th century Duomo, the People's Palace, and museums dedicated to artwork and archeology. There are also countless other churches, buildings, and fortresses to see. The train station in Poggibonsi can connect you to Siena, Florence, or Pisa.

Exterior Description

This is a beautiful restored country house converted into a private, luxurious and comfortable villa. There is a main house and a hay loft, surrounded by a garden, vineyards, and olive groves. There is an infinity pool with hydro massage (open April 1 to October 30), as well as a pizza oven, barbecue, and an outdoor dining area with table and chairs. There is an open space for parking several cars.

Interior Description

Main House
Ground Floor: The entrance leads to an inviting kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and toaster. The living/dining room has a fireplace, and there is a guest bathroom with a toilet and sink. There is one double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm) and a bathroom with a shower. This room is wheelchair-accessible.
First Floor: There are three double rooms which can be made as narrow twin (80 cm) or queen size beds (160 cm), upon prior request. There is a fourth double bedroom with a queen size bed and a private entrance. All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Hay Loft:
Ground Floor: There is a spacious living/dining room with kitchen corner, a guest bathroom with a toilet and sink, and a veranda.
First Floor: There is one double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm) and a bathroom and hydro massage bathtub.
