You will adore the original features of this traditional Amalfi Coast vacation villa, 500 meters from the village square of Montepertuso. You'll enjoy the quiet local flavor, very laid back and friendly. Easily accessed public transport will take you anywhere else you want to go on the Amalfi Coast in Italy-- Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and beyond. You will also love dining "al fresco" on a terrace with wonderful sea views.

Typical house newly and tastefully furnished. It has been recently and lovingly renovated with great attention to details and respect for the original structures of the building and materials such as terra-cotta tiles on the floor and solid wooden wardrobes. To access town you must first walk to Montepertuso which is 5 minutes from the property, where you will catch a shuttle bus to Positano center (buses run every hour in July/August, every two hours off-season). The bus from Positano to Montepertuso stops running at 10.00 p.m. A taxi costs about 30 Euros. The pathway from Montepertuso to the property is 500 meters long, uphill, and consists of about 20-25 steps along the way. You'll need to park your car in the piazza in town, and reach the house on foot. Note that there is no parking for a scooter at the property. The scooter must be parked 200 meters from the villa.
Distances: Montepertuso 500 meters, Positano 4km (for further facilities, buses to Sorrento, Amalfi, post office, chemist, hydrofoil to Amalfi - Sorrento-Capri or Naples); Amalfi 22 km, Ravello 27km, Sorrento 22km. Services: English speaking manager on call. Maid service available on request. Parking about 400m away upon payment; a space may be reserved at the time of booking for approximately 60 Euros per week. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.

Ground Floor: Entrance into a simply furnished sitting/dining room with fireplace, modern kitchen area (views are of neighboring houses) with washing machine and bathroom with shower. There are no sea views from the ground floor.
First Floor:A staircase of 22 steps leads up to two comfortable and spacious double bedrooms, each with doors to the spacious terrace offering beautiful sea views; full bathroom with tub. Each bedroom has air conditioning. Possibility of taking beautiful walks and even more serious trekking into the mountains or towards the sea in an almost untouched environment.

Enjoyed Most:
Location. Not too many stairs. Kitchen very well equipped. Sitting on the balcony with our morning coffee.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Living room is not well equipped. TV lacks international channels in English. View is poor compared to the neighborhood. Air conditioning is essential and is an extra charge.
Surrounding Area:
Views. Atmosphere in the village. Excellent restaurants. Nice grocery store.
Tips or Restaurants:
Do your shopping in a big supermarket on your way to Montepertuso. Supplementary shopping can be done in the local store.
Check In Out:
You cannot put on the air conditioning and the washing machine at the same time!
