Enjoyed Most:
The view is simply extraordinary! The house was extremely comfortable and we really appreciated the books on art, history and music. We enjoyed the record player and choices of albums.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Getting to and from the house can be described as a 'religious' experience, as not everyone honks for the upcoming one-lane curves. It also took a lot of time to get from one place to another, due to the windy, narrow, uphill road.
Surrounding Area:
We had a wonderful time in Malcesine and walking atop Mount Baldo. Mostly, the activities are water related or for sun worshipers. The towns are pretty touristy and crowded.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Piave was the closest town and although I am sure some walked into town, we did not. It is quite the uphill climb on the return.
Tips or Restaurants:
There is a very popular restaurant in the last curve before Piave, I can't remember the name, but make reservations. It is a fun place and the food is good, especially anything off their grill!

The place was clean, well equipped, plenty of blankets and space. Even had
a ping pong table, which was great for the kids.
