Set in the lush Tuscan countryside, this estate is situated in the charming village of Vorno, a picturesque and historically aristocratic town at the foot of Monte Zano near the larger town of Lucca. In Vorno, you will find a restaurant, a grocery store, and a bar, while the more cosmopolitan Lucca offers a wealth of museums and restaurants. Founded in 180 BC, Lucca is still surrounded by the old city walls, built to keep out invaders. Inside the walls you can visit the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, Piazza Napoleone, and Torre Guinigi, or treat yourself to some great shopping. The estate is about a ten minute drive from Lucca, a 30 minute drive from Pisa, and approximately one hour from Florence.

(200 m2) This villa rests within a walled Tuscan estate of over seven acres and is one of three independent houses. The villa has its own garden and large private swimming pool (11.2m x 5.8m), and offers lovely panoramic views from the towers of Lucca to the charming farmhouses and olive groves on Monte Zano. It sits 300 meters from the next closest villa. On sunny days you can dine al fresco in the garden under the shade of an old cherry tree.

(300 m2) This villa is composed of two parts: the West Wing and the East Wing. Please note that the wings are separate and not internally connected. The villa has a total of six bedrooms with king- and queen-size beds (two can be separated into two twins) and en suite bathrooms, three living rooms, and a lovely garden with a terrace. It has full radiator heating and all bedrooms have air conditioning. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and designer fabrics.
West Wing
Ground Floor: This side of the house consists of a private salon with deep, comfortable sofas and a traditional Tuscan fireplace. The adjacent open plan kitchen/dining room is suitable for hosting a large dinner party and is equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave.
First Floor: The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-size bed with windows facing the garden and Monte Zano; the second room has a 160 cm queen-size bed with views toward Lucca; the third room has a private fireplace, a 180 cm king size bed, and mountain and garden views. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and bathtub with handheld showerhead. The second bedroom has a large walk-in shower and stand-along claw foot bathtub. The third room has an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and large walk in shower.
East Wing
Ground Floor: In this wing you will find a large demonstration kitchen (it has been used for professional cooking classes) equipped with all the amenities, including stove, oven, and microwave. There is also a lovely sitting area decorated with frescoes and a dining room with a fireplace.
First Floor: The first bedroom has a 180 cm king size bed (can be separated) and mountain and garden views. The second bedroom has a 180 cm king size bed (can be separated) and views of Monte Zano and the garden. Third bed has a 160 cm queen size bed and views of Lucca. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with sink, toilet, and bathtub with handheld showerhead. The third room has an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and large walk in shower.

Available Amenities: Heating, air conditioning in all bedrooms, private pool, daily towel change, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, satellite TV, DVD, stereo music system, and internet access. The rental also includes a personal chef (breakfast and lunch or dinner; pay cost of food and drinks), garden/housekeeping staff. Staff have one day off per week, but there will be someone on duty during the chef's day off for breakfast service and housekeeping.
