	Exterior Description Located in the quiet area of Kaminia, Jacaranda House is graced with terraces that offer beautiful views of the Saronic Bay. The terra cotta floors and traditional iron-railed balconies give the house a charming air. The port can be reached on foot in five to ten minutes. Water taxis are available for transport to numerous little bays in the area. The historic and picturesque island of Hydra is famous for its traditional architecture from the early part of the last century. It’s a meeting place for many artists and painters. A branch of the Arts Academy continues the painting tradition here. There are no cars on the island; donkeys provide the sole form of transport. Many cafes, restaurants, jewelry shops, and art galleries surround the port. Narrow, winding streets and paths along the seashore invite you to discover the island on foot. Getting there: Flight to Athens, high-speed boat from Zea Marina to Hydra.
