Overall:
We - a family of 12 - had a great stay! The location is great, close to the metro and bus lines. We also kept a car in a garage a block away for 86 euros for the week. Adrian the housekeeper was very helpful.
Enjoyed Most:
The 12 of us never felt cramped. There are 2 living rooms plus two other rooms in which to spread out.
Surrounding Area:
It's close to all of Barcelona's attractions. Easy to get around. Great bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. We always felt safe whenever we were out even a 2 AM.
Tips or Restaurants:
The apartment was well stocked - we cooked in two evenings and the kitchen and dining room were fine for a large group. The Cerveceria Catalonya is a great tapas restaurant, very busy well into the AM. It is only 4 blocks away. Also the Acadamie in the Barri Gotic was another favorite.
Directions:
We had a Garmin and a good map. Barcelona is very easy to get around. Although, you do have to sharpen your driving skills.

Overall:
We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona at the L'Eixample apartment. We were very comfortable, the apartment location was great, and the housekeeping service was excellent.
Enjoyed Most:
It is a beautiful apartment, a lot of character, very spacious, and very well appointed. A lot of space.
Enjoyed Least:
The fact that it is up 5 floors. There is an elevator, but it was very small, and a lot of times we walked the stairs, since we had a large group.
Surrounding Area:
The area is charming and very walkable. The apartment was close to the subway system as well, so everything was very convenient.

Overall:
My family and 8 adults total enjoyed every part of our experience at the villa/apartment. It was beautiful, well located, and offered enough together spaces and privacy for all of us.
Enjoyed Most:
Everything, really. It is very elegant, but comfy, and the owner-manager and the housekeeper were both friendly, helpful and attentive, if necessary, but unobtrusive.
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing.
Surrounding Area:
It is a residential part of the city, but with excellent eating, drinking, and shopping establishments nearby, as well as easy access to the city's great subway system.
Tips or Restaurants:
A place called Citrus on Las Ramblas had great food and is very close.
Directions:
We just gave our address to the cab driver at the airport. He found it easily.

Enjoyed Most:
The size of the apartment was perfect for a large party. We had seven adults and three children and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space.
Surrounding Area:
The proximity to wonderful tourist and shopping areas.
Tips or Restaurants:
It would be nice to have a full length mirror in either the bedroom or bathroom of the master suite. It would also be nice to have two or more alarm clocks.
