Customer Reviews

Overall:
We loved the apartment and all of it's history and charm. It is very comfortable, well equipped, and the location was perfect for us. An important part was the owner. He was charming, helpful, gracious!
Enjoyed Most:
Aside from what we wrote about the area below, we also appreciated the person who came in every day to keep the place in shape. She was helpful and kind. We also appreciated the information left by the owner regarding restaurants and places to visit.
Enjoyed Least:
Having to leave!
Surrounding Area:
Charming part of Barcelona, a golden triangle, in that you could see Gaudi's "confections" of design wonders, Picasso's early creations at the museum, and walking to attractions was fun and easy to do due to the location. A charming area with a great wine shop almost next door and two great bakeries almost next door.
Tips or Restaurants:
For a great dining experience on the level of The French Laundry in the Napa Valley but without the "attitude" please go to Moo in the Omm hotel. Prices more than reasonable for such a level of aesthetics and feelings and the staff went out of their way to explain how the dishes were prepared--even to the point of bringing out the special type of rice and spices that were used in one of the dishes so we could "see" them. An excellent experience.
Directions:
Barbara gave us some excellent tips and suggestions for getting to the property which we followed and all arrived quickly. We did not use our GPS in Barcelona although we did use it in the countryside.
