Overall:
Fantastic stay! The owner made us feel very welcome and was there when needed and not at all intrusive. He offered advice on places to visit, ideas about dining on the property or in local areas.
Enjoyed Most:
Clean, quiet and the views were stunning...it was everything the web site showed and then some on top of that.
Enjoyed Least:
A fridge by the pool area would have been nice to save the walk up and down to the house...but I was so relaxed I needed the excercise! Pool towels would have been nice.
Surrounding Area:
The little villages were fascinating with just the right balance of Authentic Italy and tourist shops available.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The nearest town was Bettole and yes, it was within walking distance...about a 35- 40 minute walk. Reasonable-sized village with shopping available for food and drink!
Tips or Restaurants:
The house only supplies a few towels per room....more can be had at an extra charge. Same with AC...it is available, but 100 Euro per day for the whole Villa. We did without and really we weren't too hot. The owner organized a pizza party for us on the brick pizza oven by the pool. It is 25 Euro's per head....sounds expensive for pizza but you get jugs of wine with it and the Pizza is AMAZING!! He keeps cooking until you explode. It was the highlight of our holiday there.

Fantastic welcome and tour of the property... The owner is a showman. Made the start of the holiday very special.
