Overall:
Great place for families of all ages. We really enjoyed the private tennis court and the pool. Layout of the villa was fabulous with lots of rooms to relax in. Bedrooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable!
Enjoyed Most:
Pool and tennis court. Also we had a visit from a family or 2 of the local Green Monkeys. We would watch them every morning and late afternoon as they played in the grass and tress. It was a bonus to have a 2 bedroom cottage on site for the grandparents. Food prepared by the Cook was really delicious.
Enjoyed Least:
Hours and service of staff were uneven. At most they prepared 2 meals per day rather than 3 as advertised, and missed changing linens a few days. Breakfast was not served until 10:30 am some morning.
Surrounding Area:
Quiet - surrounded by a golf course which was not that busy. Easy access to the Beach about a 10 minute walk at most. 20 minute walk to Supermarket and a few shops to buy souvenirs so we didn't really need a car. Taxis were readily available.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Holetown was the nearest town and we could walk there in about 25 minutes.
Tips or Restaurants:
We ate dinner at The Tides restaurant one night - a bit pricey but worth it. Food was fabulous and service great as well the setting on the water was wonderful. Mosquitoes were bad at night towards the end of the week - recommend you bring bug spray and keep the fans going at night to create a breeze. Air conditioning was a bonus in the bedrooms at night as it was muggy and hot.
Directions:
One taxi driver got lost but most seem to know the place and the area.

Overall:
Excellent. The whole week was very relaxing and we felt very "taken care of" by the friendly and talented staff.
Enjoyed Most:
Having our own pool. The beach truly was a 5-minute walk and was beautiful and not crowded, but the weather was hot. It was so nice to be able to take a dip any time we wanted. We would find our "kids" in the pool before breakfast and at night.
Enjoyed Least:
No screens. The bedrooms were air conditioned very comfortable with the windows closed. The rest of the huge house had decorative wrought iron on the windows and doors. The rooms are cooled with ceiling fans which did keep the temperature comfortable but did allow unrestricted entrance to mosquitoes. This was only bothersome in the very early morning and at dusk. We bought citronella candles for the patio, and used good old OFF! repellent. Screens in the dining room and living area would be nice.
Surrounding Area:
This property is on the "Platinum Coast" right across from a golf course and has its own private tennis court!! The area is quite upscale and quiet. We only noticed the occasional "clink" of a golf ball when we were outside! Music to our ears.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Holetown was not in walking distance for me. However, my son did make the trek there on foot once and did not seem bothered. The first day we were there we called for a taxi, and met Jason from West Coast Taxi. He became our constant companion for the rest of the week! He gave us his number, and made himself or a coworker available to us at a moment's notice. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. He even did an island tour for us at a price better than anywhere else. On our last ride with him, after dinner at Bellini's, he hugged me and said it was like saying goodbye to family. What more could you ask for?
Tips or Restaurants:
We paid 300 US dollars to have the staff shop and have food stocked in the kitchen when we arrived - good idea to get started. Once we realized what a good cook Lydia was, we were at the store 2 more times so she could make some island specialties. Macaroni pie was a hit! Bring suntan products from the US - very expensive on the island.
Directions:
We hired a transport service to the property and back to the airport - seamless.
