Tips or Restaurants:
Cafe Huiteme is a good nearby restaurant, just down Blvd Haussmann. Also, we highly recommend Musee Jacquemart Andre.

Overall:
We enjoyed our stay very much. Le Serin was everything we hoped it would be and a great place to use as our base of operations while in Paris. We will be using Rentvilla's again and will reccommend you to our friends.
Enjoyed Most:
The fact that it had a lift, and was very secure.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Can't really think of anything.
Surrounding Area:
We were only five city blocks from the Arc de Triumphe and Champs Elysees. We felt very safe walking at night. We made daily use of the pastery shop and Deli. We saw pretty much all of Paris, the Siene, Notre Dame, the Luvre, Versailles, Sacre Cuer, Montemarte, and the Canals of Paris. We packed a lot into our stay. We did a restaurant or two at first, but after we discovered the food mart, Pastery shop, and Deli, we would stop there on our way back from the days activities and stock up for supper and the next day. It really was an economical way to do Paris. The Haussmann Boulvard and Rue de Franklin Roosevelt were very accessible to some very lively night spots around the Champs Elysees.
Directions:
The owner was very accommodating. He spoke excellent English and called us before we arrived, and as we arrived.
Check In Out:
Beatrix was very helpful, but did not speak very fluent English, as we did not speak very fluent French. We were comfortable with her explanations.

Overall:
Sweet to be close to one of the "hubs" in Paris. We enjoyed the lovely restaurants and outdoor cafes. The views were "true Paris"! Romantic!
Unpleasant Surprises:
Noise from the streets all night.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring your own soap and washcloths.
Directions:
We had Paris City limos pick us up. Great value and zero hassle!

Overall:
It was great and very enjoyable. Would definitely go again.
Enjoyed Most:
That it was a home and very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. The building is very secure.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Street noise. Hausmann is a major thoroughfare and a cobblestoned street. Also, there is no air-conditioning. For the most part it is not needed, but sometimes there are hot spells.
Surrounding Area:
Down the street from the Arc de Triomphe and an easy walk to the Champs Elysee stop for the Batobus or the Saint Phillipe de Roule metro stop. There's also a market next to the metro stop.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The apartment is on the right bank of Paris in the 8th arrondissement.
Tips or Restaurants:
On Rue de Faub St Honore, there is a great bistro called Chez Stef. There's also a very good cafe three restaurants down on Hausmann that makes great croqs and sandwiches. The Musee Jacquemart Andre is also an interesting find and very nearby.
Directions:
From the Arc de Triomphe, walk down Av de Friedland which will turn into Blvd Hausmann. It is a 10 minute walk.
Check In Out:
The owner was very nice in showing us how everything works when we got there and letting us leave our baggage at the apartment during check out since our flight was in the evening.

Overall:
It exceeded our expectations.
Enjoyed Most:
Very spacious, high ceilings, really allowed each family member of 5 to have his/her own space.
Unpleasant Surprises:
It was a bit warm with no AC on the days it was hot.
Surrounding Area:
Great area - upscale, good patiseries, cafes, restaurants, markets and decent shopping. Very close to St. Phillipe metro.
Directions:
we took the Air France bus to the Arc de Triomphe and easily walked to the apartment.
Check In Out:
Beatrix was really prompt and very nice.

Overall:
Great place to stay when visiting downtown Paris. Can walk most places, and feel that you are living in Paris in a nice apartment.
Enjoyed Most:
The location and spaciousness of the apartment. It was well stocked and everything worked well: Internet, washer, etc. Being greeted and having everything explained was an asset.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The second bathroom, which is a shower room with sink. The hot water tap in the guest WC didn't work and the shower room is small, albeit a great shower. We were expecting 2 full bathrooms. Editor's Note: The second bathroom has a shower and sink, but no toilet. There is a guest bathroom with toilet and sink; the sink has cold water only.
Surrounding Area:
Park Moreau , and everthing that central Paris has to offer.
Tips or Restaurants:
Check the aparatment before you buy staples and groceries, as it was well stocked with basics already .

Overall:
It was delightful...The apartment was so beautifully decorated and 'glamorous', but it was also comfortable. We were very pleased with our choice of this apartment.
Enjoyed Most:
The view from the balcony to the Arc de Triomphe was our favorite part. The large doors that opened to the balcony from every room were wonderful. The openness of the library and living room allowed us to sit and talk about "our day in Paris".
Unpleasant Surprises:
For six people we did not like that fact that there were only two toilets, but it did not really make a difference since we were all family, however it might be a problem for unrelated travelers. We were traveling with our adult children.
Surrounding Area:
There was a grocery store one block away that closed at 9:00 pm with a Starbucks almost next door. There was also a little convenience store 1/2 block away that was open until 10:00 pm. The Metro stop-St. Philippe du Roule was two blocks away and a pharmacy is across the street. The Arc de Triomphe at night from the balcony was awesome!!!!
Nearby Events or Locales:
Since we love to walk, this was a convenient location. It was 1/2 mile to the Arc de Triomphe and 1.5 miles to the Louvre. We walked everywhere and when we were tired took the Metro back to the apartment.
Tips or Restaurants:
We tried all the Italian restaurants in the neighborhood and they were amazing. The wireless network only allowed for one computer at a time. We only ate breakfast at the apartment, but the kitchen is very well stocked with anything that one might need to cook a meal. The only thing that I can think that a renter would need are extra plugs for French electrical outlets.
Directions:
We took a cab from and to the airport. It cost 50 euros for four people and four pieces of luggage.
Check In Out:
Beatrix did a great job of checking us in and out. Even though I do not speak any French she did a great job of explaining how everything worked.

Overall:
A perfect apartment with fine furnishings mixed with more eclectic art. Perfect with children as there was lots of space.
Enjoyed Most:
The large windows and long hallway that separated the living room from the bedrooms.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The noisy street.

Easy access to the metro and good restaurants.
