Overall:
Overall, we very much enjoyed the stay at Casa Trevi.
Enjoyed Most:
There are many positive aspects to the property. Though the buildings are very old, the interior has been completely redone. It's tastefully and comfortably furnished and spacious. The views were out of this world. Never have we seen such an enormous valley and with our elevated position on a hill, it was quite spectacular.
Enjoyed Least:
The little dog who lives on the property was barked in the middle of the night, and after we spoke to the caretaker, he took him inside. The pool is not heated so the water was a little chilly. Editor's Note: Since this review, the little dog is either kept inside or taken from the property during renters' stays.
Surrounding Area:
The Umbrian hill towns are in close proximity to Casa Trevi. A short drive and we had the chance to visit Assissi, Spoleto, Montefalco, Orvieto, Spello and Trevi as well as lovely wineries.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Trevi was just 1 km away and we had a beautiful view of the town from the terrace and windows.
Tips or Restaurants:
In Assisi, Metastasio restaurant has a lovely terrace with a panoramic view. There was an extra cover charge for sitting outside, but it was well worth it. Order the mixed bruschetta platter--delicious.

Overall:
One of the few times when reality exceeded expectations.
It is everything one would imagine an Italian villa to be.
Enjoyed Most:
View was outsatnding.
House was recently refurbished and everything was in good taste.
Surrounding Area:
Wonderful hill towns within driving distance.
House was in the midst of vineyards and olive groves.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Trevi was a little over a mile away and within walking distance.
Directions:
Written instructions were good. A detailed map of the area would enhance the arrival experience.
