The view was breathtaking.
Enjoyed Least:
The stairs. The number of steps required to access the villa would be challenging for someone older or out of share. Large luggage requires a porter to make the climb.
Surrounding Area:
It was relaxing, with easy access to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi and Pompeii.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Positano is an easy walk down. It's 15-20 minutes, but once again you have to go back up the hill to the villa, plus climb the steps.
Tips or Restaurants:
Don't buy tickets to the blue grotto in Positano; wait until arrival in Capri to ensure access.
Directions:
Used GPS. The woman who greeted us was very helpful.

Overall:
We had a very nice experience at the property.
Enjoyed Most:
We absolutely loved the private balcony. It was very spacious and had a magnificent view.
Enjoyed Least:
Climbing the steps to get to the property (83 steps).
It would be very difficult for someone who isn't fit.
Also, the light at the front door did not stay on, so it was dark at night when we climbed back up the steps on our return home.
Surrounding Area:
The town of Positano is very charming and all of the little towns around Positano are easy to get to by bus or boat and are worth visiting, especially Amalfi and Ravello.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The apartment is located in the town of Positano, walking distance to the charming central area near the beach. There is also a bus stop at the bottom of the stairs and the bus can take you to the central area.
Tips or Restaurants:
If you have a smartphone, get a flashlight app in order to see as you climb the stairs at night. If not, bring a small flash light.
Most of the restaurants are in the central area. My favorite ones were in the hotels "Villa Franca", near the property, and "Le Sirenuse". Also the Hotel Positano near the property has a nice breakfast buffet.
Directions:
We had a driver but would have had a problem without GPS.
Check In Out:
Definitely ask for a porter to help carry the luggage up the stairs. It cost us 25 Euros but was well worth the price.

Overall:
The property was cute with great views and also very clean and well-kept thanks to Teresa who came in every other day to take care of everything. Good location, close to the grocery and some restaurants.
Very much appreciate having the satellite TV and WiFi, as it rained most of the days we were there.
Enjoyed Most:
The terrace, which you could get to from the bedrooms as well as the living area.
Surrounding Area:
Positano is a great location and the town itself has many wonderful restaurants and shops. From Positano you can travel to several other towns by bus which is easy and fun.
Tips or Restaurants:
In Positano all of the restaurants on the beach were excellent, highly recommended.
Directions:
We hired a car service from the airport in Naples.
