Overall:
The villa was exquisite and much more than I'd imagined. The space worked out perfectly for the number of people we had.
The view was spectacular and the pool a welcome relief from the heat in town. My family was able to really relax.
Enjoyed Most:
The location - far enough from the tourist crowds and vacationers
in town but close enough when we wanted to go somewhere.
Enjoyed Least:
The mosquitos outside at night - not conducive to staying outdoors after dark. And there was a bit of an ant problem in one of the bedrooms.
Surrounding Area:
Enough attractions to see and nice restaurants.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Meina was a bit of a hike down but manageable for the able-bodied. Not much happening there after 7 p.m. though. Arona was only a 5 min. car ride and there is much more happening there.
Tips or Restaurants:
Citronella candles? We bought some pool toys since we had children; there were none there - we donated them to the house. The gelaterias were excellent.
Directions:
We did use a GPS to get everywhere.
Check In Out:
It was perfect and we really appreciated being able to check in a couple hours earlier since we had traveled all night. The owner was very accommodating--even met us at a restaurant in the town to lead us to the house.
