Overall:
We would love to come back and bring our family to enjoy the villa.
Enjoyed Most:
Tranquil with a beautiful view and everything you could ask for as far as equipment was concerned. Lovely, welcoming owner and great presentation.

Lovely little village with great restaurant in the hotel. Fabulous views from the villa.

Speracedes. We walked to the village.

Restaurant as above. Every piece of equipment supplied with excellent supply of linen and towels.

Overall:
It was fantastic. We had a great time. The house accommodated our party of 6 very nicely.
Enjoyed Most:
We enjoyed everything about the house. It was thoughtfully supplied with cooking basics and paper supplies to get you started. There were towels for the pool. The owners were so welcoming.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Nothing.
Surrounding Area:
For our group it provided a central point for adventure and travel experiences. We ventured to the Val du Gordon, a long day trip take your swim suits for a a dip in the lake. We visited Nice and Antibes and the Estrelle for our Mediterranean experiences. We toured a perfume factory in Grasse, and the caves of St Cezzare ( a great village for a meal or wander.

Tips or Restaurants:
No bad food in France! It is just not allowed. We went out to lunch everyday but only occasionally at dinner out. We usually enjoyed good food and views and conversation from the patio around 10pm. Next time I would take my Razor cell phone and pay to have it "unlocked" for 10 E at a store and buy a sim card. Phone cards work very well for calling home but if you need to be in contact with all in your group (we had two cars) a cell phone is so handy. I was glad that I had brought Euros and didn't have to keep running to the ATM.
Directions:
This property is a little remote for the timid driver but once you've done it once, you are fine.

Overall:
We truly loved the property and do not feel that anything needs to be embellished.
Enjoyed Most:
The quiet and serene nature of the property along with the view allowed us to spend quality time on the property with our family and enjoy the true nature of what Provence is all about.
Surrounding Area:
We took day trips in the surrounding area and were able to walk to various places in the village where we could buy our meat and bread. The owners of the property were most gracious and gave us a sense that we were truly at home, rather than just renting a property.

Speracedes is a magical village and offered all that we wanted in terms of food and restaurants.
Tips or Restaurants:
The restaurant at the Hotel in Speracedes is a true find and extremely well priced along with being at the top of all the places that we ate in Provence.

Overall:
Once you get the hang of the roundabouts it is really quite easy to get around. The owners were lovely and helpful.
Enjoyed Most:
Great layout, especially for families with children. Some beautiful furnishings. Beds were quite comfortable. View and patio area were wonderful with an outside grill. Kitchen was well equipped, but of all things, we had to go out and buy coffee cups...
Unpleasant Surprises:
Had a little trouble with the oven, only had one temperature. In the valleys below there was a lot of burning going on and the smoke would blow right up to the villa. This may only happen in the early winter when we were there as they prune the olive trees, etc..
Surrounding Area:
Beautiful villages, incredible views, wonderful food and markets.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Speracedes. A nice walk to the village. We would walk up in the morning for fresh pastries and then head to the playground with the kids.
Tips or Restaurants:
Restaurant at the hotel in Speracedes was very nice and the owners were delightful. We found an incredible Pizzaria good for kids in Peymeinade, the village just below Speracedes.

We couldn't have been more pleased.
Enjoyed Most:
Wonderful location near two villages, incredibly welcoming hosts who invited us to pick fresh veggies in their garden, etc., charming patio with grill, exquisite view. What's NOT to love?
Unpleasant Surprises:
We truly loved everything about it.
Surrounding Area:
Incredible views around every bend, sweet little village, friendly neighbors.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Speracedes was an easy, but uphill! walk and we took a very pleasant hike to Cabris 3 km away, as well to work off some of the wonderful French food.
Tips or Restaurants:
Le Petit Prince in Cabris was fun. Plan to cook on the grill and bring candles for ambience!
Check In Out:
We arrived, dead tired, at 3:00pm and were graciously welcomed and allowed access to the home two hours early. Very considerate.

Enjoyed Most:
Peace and quiet. The property sits on the side of a mountain overlooking the valley below and is the last house on the street. The views were fantastic, although you can't see the ocean. The pool was also nice. The property manager, the sister of the owner, was very attentive, kind and helpful.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Too long of a commute to the beach, when you factor in the Cote d'Azur summer traffic. While the interior of the home was not particularly charming, it was functional.
Surrounding Area:
Quiet, and with a car it was a decent base for exploring.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Speracedes was within walking distance. The bigger more interesting close town is Grasse but is too far away to walk.
Tips or Restaurants:
Be prepared for long drives to the coastal towns during the summer.

Overall:
Enjoyed our stay. Owner was gracious and unobtrusive.
Enjoyed Most:
Quiet, privacy, views, proximity to day trip locations.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Walking and running for exercise was challenging due to location on steep hills. Would be true anywhere in this area.

Landscape, town centers, interactions with local people

Some shops were within walking distance.
Tips or Restaurants:
Pay the cost per piece for having the sheets provided and sent out for laundering. Rather expensive but still not worth dragging sheets for four people on plane.
Owner has good restaurant suggestions.
Need French-English book if not fluid in French for stores and restaurants.

Overall:
The owners were very helpful and even shared their own glorious olive oil and fresh
vegtables from their garden. I would return in a heartbeat.
Enjoyed Most:
We enjoyed eating all of our meals on the terrace. The grill was a nice addition that we used almost all the time. The swimming pool was grand, too.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The kitchen was small but had everthing we needed.
Surrounding Area:
There were so many wonderful attractions in the surrounding area. We especially liked the markets with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses and vegatables. Cabris, 3 km away, was a lovely gem with fabulous restaurants and entertaning boles tounaments.
Grasse had bigger stores and great resturants, too. The Goudon Loop de Gorge was beauitiful. The hills provided challenges for cyclists.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Spercacedes was a short but steep walk. We loved the Festival of the Children of Speracedes. It was a charming party on the first day of summer, including the tradition of children jumping over a fire.

Overall:
A beautiful home with a lovely view. Comfortably slept 8 people.
Enjoyed Most:
The patio was gorgeous and quite nice for a bbq, swimming, and entertaining.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The beds were very french and therefore not very comfortable.
Surrounding Area:
It was a quick drive to Grasse, Cabris, Cannes. Centrally located.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The Gorge du Loup was quite close with breathtaking views. The parfumeries of Grasse were nice to tour. The cuisine of the area was divine. Quick trips to Cannes, Nice and Monaco without the traffic and noise of the cities at night.
Tips or Restaurants:
We asked for maid service for the week and the housekeeper was quite thorough and quite inexpensive. Well worth it! Enjoy a bbq at the house on the patio...we did and loved it!
