This Amalfi Coast accommodation provides the unforgettable sensation of being suspended high above the sea, and it commands extensive views of the azure Mediterranean and the whole arch of the Amalfi Coast, down to Capo Conca.

Location Description

This villa is located about four kilometres from the center of Maiori, a small town on the Amalfi Coast. Maiori has grocery shops, banks, a post office, bars, restaurants, and all basic facilities. Not far from the villa's entry gate on the main coastal road, there is a bus stop 500 m away for the SITA buses, which provide transportation all along the coast, from Sorrento to Salerno. Ferries and hydrofoils operate daily (May – October), offering service from Maiori and Amalfi to Capri (1.5 hours), Positano (30 minutes), Naples (2 hours), and Salerno (1 hour).

Exterior Description

(60 m2 of terrace) The villa is situated on a rocky outcropping, near a summit that overlooks the sea, and it is surrounded by land dotted with pine trees, olives trees, and other Mediterranean plants. It easily accessible from the main coastal road; there is an electric gate and then a narrow driveway that leads to the house (small cars only). The property has a generous sea water swimming pool (accessible via a flight of 39 steps) and a large terrace, from which there are enchanting views of the coast. The pool area also has white sun lounges, a shower, and a cane pergola for shade. The driveway has shaded parking spots for two or three cars.

Interior Description

(190 m2) This stone-built villa has an inviting and friendly ambiance; it is furnished with modern, comfortable furniture, richly-coloured terracotta tile floors, and attractive decor. There is a charming, restful living/dining room with white couches and coordinating armchairs, a coffee table, a dining table for eight people, and large windows with views of the sea. The living room also offers access to the east terrace, which has a table and chairs for dining al fresco. A large, modern kitchen is equipped with all contemporary facilities. There are a total of four bedrooms, each with individually controlled electric heating/air-conditioning units. There is a spacious master bedroom with a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom (has tub with both handheld and wall-mounted showerhead, WC, sink, bidet). The second bedroom has French doors to the east terrace and two twin-beds (which can be converted to a double bed on request). This bedroom is served by a nearby bathroom (has tub with handheld showerhead, WC, sink). There are four steps that lead up to two other bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin-size beds (which can be converted to a double bed on request), French doors to the terrace, and an ensuite bathroom (has tub with handheld showerhead, WC, sink). The fourth bedroom has two twin-beds (sorry, can NOT be converted to a double). The fourth bedroom is served by a nearby bathroom (has shower, WC, bidet, sink).
