Location Description

Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment is the delightful beach of Playa Del Cristo, as well as a plethora of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and bars at the vibrant and colorful Port of Estepona. This old Spanish town, located between Marbella and Gibraltar is one of the few on the coast that is relatively unspoiled by the intrusion of commercial tourism. A by-product of this is a low crime rate and a feeling of safety at all times. The town center (Plaza de Flores) is a 20-minute stroll along a beach-front promenade. There is a large market on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the year. There is a regular bus service to local towns, including Puerto Banus and Marbella. There is also an inexpensive taxi service. The old part of the town is quaint with picturesque whitewashed houses with geranium boxes; pavement cafes & bars as well as some very popular eateries.

Exterior Description

This quiet and spacious ground floor apartment is located in an attractive low-rise apartment block built on a slope. The rear of the apartment (south-facing) is three floors above the well kept garden and pool level. There are two elevators, and underground parking (reserved car space is about 35 Euros per week paid locally).

Interior Description

Ground Floor: The large living/dining room is well furnished with two sofas, dining table and chairs, TV/VCR, CD/cassette/radio, and DVD player. A choice of family video cassettes is available. The living room and bedroom both have direct access to the spacious terrace, furnished with a wrought iron table, bench and two armchairs. From the terrace there is a wonderful view to the marina. The sea-facing kitchen is superbly equipped with all modern appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The bedroom has a king-sized (200 cm x 180 cm) bed that can be separated to form twin-beds, a central ceiling light/fan, double hanging wardrobe and a shelved cupboard. An ensuite shower has a spacious tiled walk-in shower area, bidet, WC and sink.

Nearby Attractions: There are excellent golf courses, tennis, water sports, horseback riding, fishing, walking, go-karting, para-gliding and even pool and snooker. Traditional bullfighting can be seen at the bull ring. A casino is located 20 minutes away and there are organized trips to watch the dolphins at play off Gibraltar. Arrangements can be made for day trips by bus to Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Seville and even Morocco. Selwo Wildlife Adventure Park is 10 minutes from town.
