This villa is located in La Teste, a town near Arcachon along the Cote d'Argent-- over 200 km of sandy beaches leading into sand dunes and forest land. Arcachon is one of the oldest resorts on this coast and is located in the protective Bassin d'Arcachon. There is a long strip fronting the beach, where you can find a variety of restaurants. You can also visit the Parc Mouresque, where there are nice views over the sea. One of the best places to visit is the Dune du Pyla, mountains of sand dunes where you can slide down to the sea. Of course there are all the typical outdoor activities, such as sailing, golf, horseback riding, and bike paths, and you can also take excursions to the oyster park, vineyards, wine cellars, and Cap Ferret. Bordeaux is also nearby, which means you can take day trips to this amazing city when you get tired of beach life! Virtually all things French can be found in the city of Bordeaux, including fantastic cuisine, amazing architecture, wine, theatres, churches, and of course shopping!
