This villa is located within easy driving distance of the walled city of Lucca. There are a few shops and restaurants on the road along the way, but of course the widest selection can be found in town. Lucca is worth enjoying simply for its medieval charm, but there are also a number of interesting sights to visit. The Duomo di San Martino and the Church of San Michele in Foro are both gorgeous examples of period architecture, while the Casa di Puccini, where the composer was born, has been transformed into a small museum in his honor. You can also climb the 130 foot Torre Guinigi, but on the other hand viewing the tree-topped tower from below might be just as enjoyable… and a lot less work!

(1 hectare) This elegant 18th century villa is located in the heart of an l3 hectare wine estate, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. In 1708 it was the home of a count, and his direct descendent still owns the property today. A large formal Italian-style garden includes many areas to relax in the shade as well as a private swimming pool (7m x 14m) with lounge chairs and a barbecue. The villa is accessed via a paved country road used mostly by farmers and people working in the area. At the entrance to the garden is a small chapel, and the villa is available for small weddings. The back of the villa overlooks a small cantina and the house of the farmer who runs it. It is possible for anyone to purchase wine and olive oil here. Please note that there will be people working here during the day. However the grounds of the villa are very private, since the garden and the pool are located in front of the house. Parking for four cars is available.

Ground floor: The main entryway leads into a large, bright living room with garden access and satellite TV. A frescoed breakfast room has a marble fireplace, garden access, and a table for six. A fully equipped kitchen has an oven, gas cook-top, and microwave. There are two bedrooms on this floor, both with AC. The first has a 160 cm queen-size bed. The second has two twin beds. Between the rooms is a shared marble bathroom with a sink, toilet, and bathtub with handheld showerhead.
First Floor: From the main entrance a staircase leads up to the first floor, where you will find the former salone centrale of the piano nobile: a spacious and elegant formal living room with comfortable sofas, satellite TV, lovely yellow walls, and a high open-beam ceiling. This floor also has a formal dining room seating up to 14 guests, as well as a small balcony. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, cook-top, oven, and toaster. There are two bedrooms on this floor, both with AC. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub. The second bedroom has two single beds (can be combined upon request) and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Second Floor: This topmost floor has four more bedrooms with AC. The first and second rooms each have a single bed. The third room has a 160 cm queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with handheld showerhead. The fourth bedroom has two single beds (can be combined upon request) and a low, sloping ceiling. There are also two bathrooms on this floor, each with a sink, toilet, and shower. A laundry room contains the washing machine.
