Overall:
Amazing. We had a wonderful time and LOVED the property. We will definetly use RentVillas again.
Enjoyed Most:
The property itself was just lovely. The house was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. We loved the back porch and the view while sitting outside. The house itself was so well-planned and we wanted for nothing. The owner, Elizabeth, was so accomodating and pleasurable to deal with. She made our stay outstanding and was always available if we needed anything.
Surrounding Area:
We loved that we were able to drive to so many Tuscan towns and were not far from any of them.
Tips or Restaurants:
There were several lovely restaurants. The owner can tell you which places are best.
Directions:
We used a GPS which was helpful for us.
Check In Out:
Elizabeth greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the house. Check in and check out were seamless.

Overall:
Villa Sella is very comfortable. We spent most of our time enjoying the porch in the early mornings and late evenings. Due to cooler temperatures in October, we were unable to take advantage of the pool. Bedrooms were great for 3 couples and we had plenty of room to ourselves and great common space to share together.
Enjoyed Most:
Tranquility. Beautiful view, comfortable surroundings. We enjoyed having the services of a local chef for a wonderful dinner at home.
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing, all was good.
Surrounding Area:
Easy access to grocery shopping in Poggibonsi. The old town of Certaldo on top of the hill, accessed by funicular, was lovely. The beauty of the area is awe-inspiring.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sciano was the closest with a pizzeria, but really you must have a car to travel to the surrounding towns. Certaldo and Poggibonsi were the closest, each around 7-9 km. Train station in Certaldo offers easy access to other areas; one of our group took the train to Venice for a day trip.
Tips or Restaurants:
There are no wash cloths provided, bring your own.
Directions:
We called Elizabeth and she met us on the road and escorted us to the property. Once we had the coordinates entered into our GPS (and not the address) there were no problems.
Check In Out:
Check in and out were very easy. Elizabeth was great. Only suggestion we could make is that the recycling buckets in the house and on porch be labeled for what goes in. It was great having such a good recycling program in place.

Overall:
It was wonderful in every way and it exceeded our expectations.
Enjoyed Most:
The views, the terrace, the modernity of the home, the helpful landlord, the swimming pool, and the washer/dryer.
Enjoyed Least:
The kitchen, living room and terrace were a tight fit for 6 people, however, there are two other villas on the same wonderful property that are larger and just as nice.
Surrounding Area:
The cooking school was the highlight of the trip, the hill towns were amazing, and Siena was fantastic.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Certaldo--no, driving distance only. The nice thing is that there is a train station in Certaldo, so you can take the train to Florence and any other bigger towns you might not want to drive to.
Tips or Restaurants:
Yes, the only mistake we made was by not renting the villa for two weeks or longer. You dont need to bring anything with you, but you do need to buy any snacks, beverages or breakfast items you may wish to have. The Coop is the best grocery store, however, it is closed on Sundays. We liked the little Pizza Marrone nearby as it serves a full menu and was very convenient and the people running it were very friendly and nice. Be sure to read and make use of all the good printed material the landlord prepares for you. The day trips to hill towns and the "driving instructions" were extremely helpful. Getting the rental car back to the Florence airport is tricky; allow extra time for that.
Directions:
We did not use a GPS, but followed the written directions. However, we did have an iPhone and a person who is good at maps and directions.
Check In Out:
The landlord, Elizabeth, who is American originally, gave us a thorough explanation of everything.
