Customer Reviews
Overall:
The grounds were beautiful and we felt the villa was a good choice.
Enjoyed Most:
The gardens and the views were fantastic.
Enjoyed Least:
We killed some scorpions in the house. The kitchen floor could use a good scrubbing. We were also surprised to find how close the other villa was located (approximately 10 yards).
Surrounding Area:
The homes by the villa were beautiful and the walk to the very small village was nice. The gardens around the villas is where I would stay most of the time, though. The pool was nice but it was too cold to swim.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Coreglia was the small town and easy to walk to if you don't mind a few small hills.
Tips or Restaurants:
Be sure to ask the caretaker about insects. Grillo restaurant is an easy walk and the pizza is great.
Directions:
We didn't have a GPS but if you have a map and the written directions from RentVillass you can find the place. It is really up a mountain with very curvy roads.
Check In Out:
Check-in was fine. We got there just when the caretaker, Anna Maria, arrived.

Overall:
Peaceful and relaxing, awe-inspiring views, lots of fun in the perfect pool.
Enjoyed Most:
The pool.
Enjoyed Least:
Mosquitoes...but there really weren't many.
Surrounding Area:
The natural beauty, and the quaint, ancient mountainside village.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Coreglia Antelminelli--it's a 12-minute stroll away from the villa.
Tips or Restaurants:
Bring a paper map of the areas you want to visit by car. Our GPS failed us a couple of times.
Directions:
The provided directions were good, except that they were based on us leaving from Pisa. We were sent directions from Rome after I requested them, but we didn't get them until after we returned home. Still, we found the villa, no problem.

Overall:
We had a lovely stay at Villa della Corona! Thank you for all of your help in making our trip a smooth, relaxing and memorable one for my entire family.
Enjoyed Most:
The villa was beautiful in every imaginable way! From its gorgeous color schemes and antiques, it was exactly what I pictured an Italian villa in Tuscany to be!! The weather was perfect everyday, which allowed for great sightseeing all over, or simply sitting by the villa pool while looking out over the Alpi Apuane! Anna Maria and Enriquo were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating in every way!
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing.
