Location Description

This villa is located just 400 meters away from a beach with crystal-blue waters. Puerto Pollenca, not far from this vacation rental, offers a number of different activities, most of them related in one way or another to the beautiful beaches. Several natural beaches dot the coastline, as well as the primary artificial one, which has been recently extended. The waters of the bay are warm and shallow, great for families with children, while the usual array of facilities and water sports are available. The natural surroundings of northern Mallorca are full of contrasts. The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range displays its highest peaks and deepest valleys, creating an incredibly dramatic landscape. Hidden coves and fine sandy beaches compliment the colors of the limestone rocks and majestic pines. Pollensa Town, a short drive away, thrives with art galleries, handicrafts, music, and excellent restaurants. There are also many historic buildings (including a former Jesuit convent), as well as a Sunday morning market in Placa Major square. The Pollensa area is also home to the Albufereta Nature Reserve, 150 hectares of canals, lakes, and reed beds filled with nearly 200 species of birds.

Exterior Description

This villa and its two annexes sit amidst lovely botanic gardens including ponds, pine trees, and various varieties of flowers. There are also many terraces, including one at the first-floor level which gives lovely views toward the Bay of Pollenca. A private swimming pool (kidney-shaped) is surrounded by lounge chairs, a sun umbrella, and furniture for dining outdoors. There is also a lovely little pagoda with padded seats and curtains, perfect as a poolside changing room or just a nice place to sit back with some iced tea. There is also a barbecue and plenty of room for parking.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: Entering into this villa, there are three luxurious lounge rooms, a spacious dining room with a table for 12, and fully equipped kitchen including a cook-top, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. One bedroom on this floor has a 160 cm queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub.
First Floor: Upstairs there is a twin-bedded room with a private dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub. This room has access to a spacious terrace with beautiful views of the sea.
Second Floor: This floor has one bedroom with two single beds, each with another single pull-out bed underneath. This room is suitable for teenagers or children.
Annex 1: In a small separate building near the main building, there is a bedroom with a 160 cm queen-size bed, small kitchenette, and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub.
Annex 2: Another annex has a bedroom with two single beds, each with another single pull-out bed underneath. There is also a kitchenette and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub. This annex is best suited to teenagers or children.

No searching for a grocery store after that long flight, and no worrying about Sunday store closures. You can deal with the details later… after a meal and a good nights' sleep! Arrive & Relax provisions include:

• Water, apple juice, milk, tea, coffee, 1 bottle of red wine (mallorquin), 6 beers or 1 bottle of white wine, coca cola / fanta
• sugar, salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar
• 1 loaf of sliced bread, margarine, jam
• 8 yogurts (4 natural and 4 fruit flavor), eggs, cornflakes, seasonal fruit

Please Note:

• This property is not suitable for small children, due to the narrow steps and deep pool.
• The minimum stay is two weeks during the months of July and August.
• A midweek cleaning is included with the rental.
