This Amalfi Coast villa is seriously one of those places where you will have to pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming! Stunningly situated and offering some of the most beautiful seaside views, this former mill along the Amalfi Coast has gorgeous outdoor terraces and an infinity pool that will feel as if you're going to swim right into the ocean. The villa is made up of two independent apartments, each with their own fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathroom with every bedroom, making it perfect for a group of friends or couples spending the holidays on the Amalfi Coast.

Location Description

This villa is located near Praiano and about 600 meters away from the nearest market. In Praiano there are shops, restaurants, markets, a post office, and a bus that connects all the villages of the Amalfi Coast. This bus stop is 1500 meters from the property. Praiano is an ancient fisherman's village situated between Amalfi and Positano. Reachable by foot are Praiano's two beaches, the first is La Praia and the second is La Gavitella. There are bus stops that go to Positano, Amalfi, and Sorrento. Amalfi is a town that dates back to the 6th century and was once an important trading center with historical and medieval architecture throughout the town. The main sites include the Duomo, in Amalfi's center, the cathedral of Sant' Andrea, which dates back to the 11th century, and the Cloister of Paradise. There is also a museum dedicated to the works of Morelli and a museum where you can view artifacts of Amalfi's long and interesting history. During the summer months, there are daily ferries leaving from Amalfi to Capri, Positano, Sorrento, and Naples, although there are always buses connecting the towns along the Amalfi Coast.

Exterior Description

The villa is set on three different levels, each accessible via an external staircase of 20 steps to each floor. Once an olive oil mill in the 16th century, the villa has recently been restored and is now composed of two independent apartments, each with their own furnished outdoor patios with views of the Amalfi Coast. The bottom level features a fruit tree-lined path leading to the private infinity swimming pool (10.5m x 4.5m) with deck chairs and sun loungers. There is also an outdoor shower, covered sitting area, and a section with a table and chairs. The villa is situated 80 yards from the main road, in which there is a pedestrian-only walkway leading to the entrance.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: Entering from the street level, you'll reach a terrace situated above the property. There is then a staircase of 20 steps to walk down. Once inside, there is a living room with a couch, wicker chairs, a TV (local channels only), and a fireplace. The kitchen/dining area is equipped with a cook-top, oven, espresso machine, coffee maker, and dishwasher, as well as a table with chairs. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, a desk with a computer with DSL internet connection, a printer, and a fax machine, and access to a small balcony. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds (that be connected on request) and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, tub, and shower.
Lower Ground Floor: The bottom level is accessible via an external staircase of 20 steps. The living room has two couches. Separating the living room from the kitchen is a dining table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, and dishwasher. There is one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
