Location Description

This property is located in the small village of Castelmuzio. Castelmuzio has a church, a bar/restaurant, and a grocery store. For a larger village, visit Montisi, home to a diverse group of artists where you can actually see art shows featuring their work. Here you can also take a trip in a hot air balloon, go wine tasting, or attend a Tuscan cooking class. If you’re looking to explore a piece of history, be sure to visit Pienza, a town full of ancient Renaissance architecture located nine kilometers away. Not much further than Pienza is Sinalunga, a town with a train station that can connect you to Siena, Florence, or Rome.

Exterior Description

Although located in the center of a village, this villa also features a private and peaceful garden full of cypress trees, a pomegranate tree, and beautiful flowers. There are private terraces, one of which is just outside the dining room and furnished with a table and chairs, and a private plunge swimming pool (2.5m x 3.5m, 1 m deep) as well as sun loungers. Two parking lots are in Castelmuzio about 100-150 meters from the villa, although the villa does include a private garage for one car. A utility room in the garage has a washing machine and dryer.

Interior Description

Ground floor: There is a living room with couches, chairs, and plenty of seating for everyone to gather. There is also a 42-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, and a selection of books and magazines. A dining room has a table with eight chairs as well as a fireplace and doors opening to a terrace with another table and four chairs. On the other side of the fireplace is the kitchen, which is equipped with a cook-top, oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker, wine cooler, and dishwasher. There is one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First floor: A staircase of 16 steps leads up to the first floor where there are two bedroom suites. Each suite has a bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed, a bedroom with a 90 cm single bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Second floor: A staircase of 15 steps leads up to the second floor where there is one bedroom. This bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, bidet, and tub with a handheld shower.
