Location Description

This property is in Umbria, in the area of Umbertide, which has an abundance of natural beauty and plenty of peace and quiet for those looking to get away from it all. There’s a restaurant a mere 500 meters away, and the small village of Spedaliccio is 3 km, with shops, restaurants, and amenities. For sightseeing, be sure to visit Cortona, an ancient Etruscan hilltop town that is full of art, history, and culture. Tour frescoed churches from the 13th century; explore the original city walls, and then visit an art exhibit in the 16th century fortress. You are also sure to find restaurants featuring delicious Tuscan dishes and ancient tombs dating back to the second century BC. There are plenty of shops selling antiques, crafts, wines, and olive oils, as well as a bank, post office, and pharmacy. Or, for a unique day trip, try Lake Trasimeno, one of the largest lakes in Italy. The towns around the lake have a multitude of castles – there are even some in the lake itself, on its three islands. Umbria’s capital city, Perugia, is also worth a visit for its rich and long history that is evident when gazing up at the ancient ruins and buildings that include old churches and cathedrals. Exterior Description

This farmhouse is comprised of two buildings: a stone farmhouse is the main building, while 40 meters away there’s a smaller guest house. Each has a private driveway and its own furnished outdoor area for al fresco dining. There is a private pool (12 x 6.5 m) with nearby sun loungers and views of the manicured garden. A gazebo with a table and chairs offers a dining area for up to 14 guests, and a there’s also a barbeque.

Ground floor: This floor has a living room with a fireplace and two sitting areas. The dining area has a table and chairs, and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher. There is a bedroom on this floor with twin-beds. There’s a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. First floor: This floor can be accessed via both internal and external staircases. The entry hall has a decorative antique fireplace, and leads to three bedrooms. The first is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, sink, and bathtub with handheld shower. The second has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub with hand held shower, toilet, and double sink. The third has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
Guest House

Ground floor: This floor has a living and dining room with a fireplace, couches, and a table and chairs. The kitchen has a fireplace and is equipped with a dishwasher. The bedroom on this floor has a queen-size bed (160 cm). There’s also a bathroom with a bathtub with handheld shower, sink, and toilet. First floor: Up a flight of stairs, this floor has a bedroom with twin-beds (80-85 cm) and access to the pool area. There’s also a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Upper floor: This floor has a bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) that can be converted into twin-beds upon prior request. There’s also a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
