Location Description

The property is located 5 kilometers from the town of Sovicille. Although small, Sovicille is quite peaceful and surrounded by nature. You’ll find a café, restaurant, market, church, post office, pharmacy and a bank. Just 14 kilometers away is the cultural and artistic city of Siena. This picturesque city is a wonderfully preserved example of the Tuscan Middle Ages, and a treasure trove of gothic palaces, churches, and museums. It's also well known for its exiting bi-annual bareback horse races, the Palio, held once in July and once in August. You’ll find wonderful restaurants, fun shops, and beautiful architecture! Other great day trips include Monteriggioni and San Gimignano and the Chianti region.

Exterior Description

This farmhouse is set on the end of a private road, and has a private garden, a terrace, and a private pool (6 x 12 m) with nearby sun loungers. There’s a covered area for outdoor dining. About 500 meters from the farmhouse, there is the caretaker’s residence. Outside the property, there is a parking area.

Interior Description

Ground floor: This floor has a dining room with table and chairs and a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, espresso machine, American coffee machine, and a toaster. There is a bedroom with a king-size bed (180 cm), and a bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet. First floor: Up a flight of 19 steps, this floor has three bedrooms. The first two have large queen-size beds (170 cm). The second has twin-beds (90 cm) There’s a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, and second bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet. Lower level: Down 7 steps from the ground floor, this level has a library with a small table and 4 chairs. Down another 4 steps, there is a bedroom with a large queen-size bed (170 cm), and a second bedroom with a standard double bed (140 cm, comfortable for one, cozy for two). There’s also a bathroom with a second bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. There’s also laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

There is an additional bedroom (150 cm bed; a narrow queen) and bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet. These are not counted in our sleep count or bathroom count because they are accessed through the laundry room.
