- About The Experience
- A family or two couples can have it all at this comfortable cottage with private pool and wonderful views. It is only 4 km from the “Under the Tuscan Sun” town of Cortona, so there will be lots of day trip possibilities.
- Location Description
- The property is four kilometers away from Cortona, an ancient Etruscan hilltop town that is full of art, history, and culture. Tour frescoed churches from the 13th century; explore the original city walls, and then visit an art exhibit in the 16th century fortress. You are also sure to find restaurants featuring delicious Tuscan dishes and ancient tombs dating back to the second century BC. There are plenty of shops selling antiques, crafts, wines, and olive oils, as well as a bank, post office, and pharmacy. Excellent day trip destinations from the property are to Lake Trasimeno, where you can participate in water sports, Arezzo, Perugia, and Siena.

- Exterior Description
- The villa is a recently reconstructed house situated on the top of the hill overlooking the valley. There is a private swimming pool (open from May until October), a gazebo with dining tables and chairs and a BBQ. The fenced garden gives on to wonderful valley views. A long, unpaved road leads to the property. The road is only wide enough for one car so care should be taken while driving.
- Interior Description
- Ground Floor: The entrance opens into a combined living and dining area with sofas, chairs and a dining room table. There is a fully equipped kitchenette. There are two double rooms, one with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and one with narrow twin beds (80 cm) which can be pushed together, upon prior request, to form a queen-size bed (160 cm). Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower.
