This short term apartment in Florence is located in a palazzo on the elegant Piazza Antinori in the Duomo district. The palazzo dates back to the 14th Century, a time when the city was just beginning to expand beyond the Roman central nucleus. At that time, Via Tornabuoni and Piazza Antinori were side streets leading towards the Florence city limits. It was only in the mid-15th Century that the location around this apartment rental in Florence became the address for wealthy Florentines who bought and refurbished palaces to turn them into stately homes.

Throughout the centuries the palazzo was remodeled extensively, acquiring its present form in the mid-18th century. In the shops nearby one can find a baker, butcher, green grocer, coffee and pastry shops, hairdresser, dry cleaner, and a plethora of excellent restaurants.

(106 m2) 4th floor (with lift): This large, beautifully decorated apartment offers a spacious and peaceful haven from hectic Florence. There is a large, rectangular entrance with window. It leads into a large living room with three sofas (one is a double sofa bed) and two windows facing the Duomo, Giotto's tower, and the façade of the church of San Gaetano. There is a double bedroom (queen bed or two twin beds on request) with en suite bathroom with tub and a walk-in closet. There is also a guest bathroom with tub and a small fully-equipped kitchen with window and breakfast bar. The amenities include: dishwasher, washing machine, Satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning, independent central heating, alarm clock, American coffee maker, toaster, iron and ironing board, daytime doorman, and elevator. Amenities upon request: microwave, VCR, answering machine, hair dryer, stereo, fan, and baby bed. Kitchen towels, bath towels (two sets per person), and bed linens (two sets per bed) are provided. Clients are responsible for washing and changing linens. Maid Service can be arranged for 12 Euros per hour (includes cleaning supplies). This apartment is not suitable for students.
