(195m2) Second floor (with elevator): The apartment has four windows with pleasant views of the Garden Delle Oblante across the street, and a side glimpse of the Duomo to the west. There is a large living room; a spacious kitchen with oven, microwave, gas stove, fridge/freezer, American coffee maker, dishwasher, and a dining area; and a guest bathroom with laundry. There is a large master bedroom/study with decorated coffered ceilings and a bathroom with tub; a twin-bedded room; a bedroom/study with double sofa bed; a bathroom with tub; and a walk-in closet.

Enjoyed Most:
Our vacation could not have been better. From the start, you gave us clear instructions on all the steps needed to be taken to complete the rental. Your staff was very accommodating and helpful. My family was arriving on various flights and my wife and I got delayed and you made arrangements for my son to pick up of the keys and then you met my son at the apartment to explain how the various appliances and lights worked - all on a Saturday afternoon. The apartment itself was spacious, full of light and quite comfortable for the 6 of us.
Unpleasant Surprises:
I would suggest a thorough cleaning and the furniture could be upgraded a bit. However, the proof that we were very pleased with the apartment is that we have reserved it again for next year! Thank you for everything.
Surrounding Area:
The apartment's location was ideal, close to all the important sights, but also to a charming market, Grana, around the corner, with a very helpful manager.

Enjoyed Most:
Very spacious and airy. Beautiful furnishings. There is a very small lift. It had great security in an older part of town, which is where we wanted to be. There is a small, quiet sidewalk bistro kitty-corner across the street for a late night unwind before going up to bed. The Duomo only 1 long block away, with shops and restaurants surrounding.
Unpleasant Surprises:
When we arrived at the apartment, we went for lights, and the electricity went out before we could unpack. After up and down to the main breaker box downstairs, we finally found the "culprit." In the kitchen, there are a set of light switches nearest the bath-laundry. They had been taped over with masking tape, but when coming to them from the opposite side and just reaching for a switch, they had been tripped. I would suggest BOXING that over, so they could not be pushed. A standing lamp with a slide bar switch has replaced the wall switch.
The other least favorite issue is an inadequate washer-dryer combo. We had plans to wash there and most had to go to a public laundry or hand wash.
Surrounding Area:
Location, location, location! The surrounding bells ringing were wonderful.
Though there is a small inner courtyard, there is NO bench or chairs to sit and enjoy. That place could be made very pleasant.

Overall:
This was the perfect accommodation for six people. We would definitely use RentVillas, again. Today one of our friends asked about our stay as they are traveling to Italy in the fall and we gave your firm a very strong recommendation.
Enjoyed Most:
Location, apartment appointments, and staff were all excellent.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The property was excellent, and we can only be very pleased with our choice.
Surrounding Area:
We particularly liked the neighborhood restaurants - the suggestions in the manual were excellent, the proximity to the cultural sites was excellent and yet the bedroom area of the property was very quiet.
Tips or Restaurants:
Our contact with Kristeen was very pleasant and her suggestions made our stay very easy and pleasant. Our best dinner was at La Giostra--one of her suggestions. The staff at Taverna Antica Fattoria, close to the Uffizi was ever so charming and the food was excellent. Our granddaughters recommend the Pesto enthusiastically!
