Overall:
We are gourmet cooks and love to cook when we've vacationing in Italy. We found the kitchen a delightful working space. It was wonderful having an apartment in the historical building right on the river. We really got an opportunity to experience Italian living.
Enjoyed Most:
The location was convenient. The building very historical but modern inside. All amenities of home.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Noise. The location was on a busy street and traffic by the building was annoying. Also, there was a bar on the corner that was very busy until late at night.
Surrounding Area:
Lots of shopping and dinning opportunities within walking distance. We did have a car and explored all around the surrounding towns and neighborhoods.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Bassano within walking distance from the property.
Tips or Restaurants:
Expect to have some trouble with parking. We followed the advice of the renters before us and looked for parking across the river. The walk across the bridge was delightful and we discovered an excellent restaurant that we wouldn't have seen if we hadn't done the walk. Try Al Ponte. They make their own chocolates.
Directions:
Building location is next door to the Ceramic Museum.
Check In Out:
Property manager speaks fluent English and she followed all of the procedures outlined in the documents we received in advance.

Enjoyed Most:
The charming city and property. The location, the view, the garden.
Unpleasant Surprises:
No public transportation from the Venice airport to Bassano. Taxi is quite expensive.
Surrounding Area:
Surrounding places are beautifull especially in the mountains.
Tips or Restaurants:
We like Italian food. There are good restaurants. We cooked at home often.

Overall:
Great property. Would defintely return to it, and the town was great! Helps to know a little Italian.

A little noisy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Surrounding Area:
Great shops for bread, butcher, produce, fresh pasta, cheese.
Tips or Restaurants:
We cooked our dinners!
Directions:
Arriving on saturday is a bit of a pain, especially after 10:00am, since there are festivals or markets going on every weekend.
