Overall:
Absolutely excellent. It could not have been a more appropriate setting for a family get-together of 17 people of various ages.
Enjoyed Most:
The whole property was superb. While retaining the quaint, antique nature of the houe, the modern bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms were combined with tasteful decor and beautiful rooms. The grounds dating back 400 years are absolutely stunning.
Enjoyed Least:
Nothing. It was all superb.
Surrounding Area:
We hardly went off the property as it was so great to just enjoy the viilla and its grounds. A day trip to Granada was an excellent excursion.
Tips or Restaurants:
You cannot but enjoy this wonderful villa.
Directions:
Easy to find. You don't need a GPS.
Check In Out:
No problems at all. Peppa, who runs the villa, does the cooking, organizes the shopping, etc., is wonderful. Luckily I speak Spanish - it might have been tricky without this.

Overall:
The villa is beautiful and very private. It was perfect for a family reunion with day trips out from the villa.
Enjoyed Most:
After the first two nights, we cooked for ourselves and the outdoor seating was fabulous for meals. The staff brought fresh bread every day.
Enjoyed Least:
There was some confusion over the food preparation. We had ordered flats of water and other items which were never provided. We ordered meals prepared at the villa for Saturday and Sunday night. The staff was told that we had 5 vegetarians out of 20 people but the meal on Sunday had a lot of fish, but few vegetables. The clothes washer takes a long time to wash clothes.
Tips or Restaurants:
It is important to tell clients in advance to bring groceries and water to the villa on Saturday since the stores are closed on Sunday and the property is about 20 minutes up from Alemuncar where you there is a nice grocery store.
