Overall:
You will enjoy Bellagio - Sisco. It is a clean, large apartment, with a well equipped kitchen. We did not cook any meals, but with the equipment provided you certainly could.
Enjoyed Most:
The yard! We love to garden and this yard put ours to shame. The weather was delightful while we were there and we spent almost every evening sitting at the tables and chairs provided. We met our neighbors and enjoyed the view with local cheeses, breads and local wines that we bought at the grocery in San Giovanni.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The walk to Bellagio is only one mile, but the road is narrow, heavily traveled, with no sidewalk or even a shoulder to walk on. It is treacherous. After we were there for a couple of days, we found for 4 Euros one way you could catch a sightseeing train, the Trenino Turistico, in the park in San Giovanni that will take you to the docks in Bellagio. That is much safer and beats driving and trying to find a place to park.
Surrounding Area:
Bellagio is gorgeous, but even in May it had hundreds of tourists. So, we took frequent ferry rides to other villages on Lake Como. We also took the car ferry to Varrena, just north of Bellagio, and drove to San Moritz. The drive was spectacular. If you take that drive, stop in Villa di Chiavenna at the restaurant Grotto Quartino and have the Menu Completo. If possible, it is more spectacular than the views.
Nearby Events or Locales:
The village of San Giovanni, where Bellagio - Sisco is located, to our thinking was better than Bellagio. It has a great restaurant, Mella; it is warren of charming narrow streets covered in field stones; it has a lakeside dock, a lakeside bar with good food, a park, a small but adequate grocery (There are grocery stores in Bellagio providing a much larger selection), and nice, nice people. From the apartment you can walk to all these things in less than 5 minutes.
Tips or Restaurants:
Our only suggestions are to bring comfortable walking shoes and make sure you get instructions on how to use the washing machine, dryer and phone.
Directions:
You were right on about the narrow pass-way to the parking area.

Overall:
Very nice, would stay there again.
Enjoyed Most:
Quiet area, nice town, clean and well kept.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Driveway in is very narrow. 3rd floor, no elevator for luggage.
Surrounding Area:
Spectacular scenery, nice atmosphere.
Tips or Restaurants:
We went in off-season, so it was quieter. Lots of good restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Overall:
The owner, Riccardo, and his daughter, Francesca, were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
Enjoyed Most:
The apartment was very modern and comfortable. It seemed brand new! The views were wonderful and it was in an excellent location. There was easy parking right under the building. The garden is peaceful and beautiful.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Nothing - everything was perfect!
Surrounding Area:
We loved the peace and quiet of the area. It was very convenient to get in and out of Bellagio.
Nearby Events or Locales:
San Giovanni was within a 2 minute walk, where there was a nice waterfront, a grocery store, post office and an excellent fish restaurant called Melle.
Tips or Restaurants:
We didn't need to bring anything - the property was totally equipped. Melle, the local restaurant in S. Giovanni was great. In Bellagio we loved Bilacus, Carillon for pizza, Enoteca Cava Turacciolo for local wine and meatcheese plates. La Pergula in Pescallo and La Punta in Bellagio for fresh lake fish and amazing lake views. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Recommend going to the local market in Como on Sat. morning and Bellagio has an excellent local market the 3rd Wed. of each month.
Directions:
There is a very narrow laneway to get to the property. We didn't have a problem, but we did need to pull the side mirrors in to clear in our car.
Check In Out:
The keyholder Riccardo was very flexible as we arrived late and had to check out with him the day before because of a very early departure.

Enjoyed Most:
As you must know by now, we had a great trip, and one third of it we owe it to you. I say this due to the fact that for one third of our journey we were extremely well accommodated, in a great and cozy apartment, which we rented through your company. Not only was the property to our satisfaction, we were also very welcomed and assisted by Mr. Ricardo, the owner of the property. We really appreciated getting to know Rentvillas which treated us so well.
Surrounding Area:
The location, Bellagio, is incredibly scenic and is very close to the city of Como, which gives its name to the lake. Bellagio is a beautiful and sophisticated town. The lake provides enchanting and relaxing scenery at any time of the day and there are many wonderful and historical day trips that can be taken from there.
