Situated on a very quiet hilltop, this villa rental in the Algarve is just the place to stay if you're looking to vacation in the countryside but still be near the city! Private and spacious, this well-furnished and modern accommodation in the Algarve has a heated swimming pool, a large landscaped yard, and furnished terraces on each of the three levels. With beautiful views of the Algarve, a peaceful atmosphere, and town just a few minutes drive away, this holiday villa in Portugal is sure to be a fabulous escape!

Location Description

The villa is located two kilometers from the nearest villa of Goldra, where there is a café and a restaurant. For something bigger, five kilometers away is the charming town of Loule, which was once a Roman settlement and still has the remains of ancient castle. There are cobblestone streets, artisan workshops, and delightful shops. Although not to the extent of Rio de Janeiro, Loule celebrates Carnaval in February with parades, floats, food, and plenty of fun! Loule also has restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and an indoor market open six days a week that sells fresh fruits, vegetables, and fish. Faro, which is the capital of the Algarve, is located only 15 kilometers and is great to go for a daytrip! In addition to the beautiful historic buildings, come of which date back to the 13th century, Faro has many interesting sites, including the Manuel Bivar Gardens, the cathedral in the center of the Largo de Se, and the Ethnological Museum, which gives visitors a look into the local lifestyles. Other daytrips can include visits to Val do Lobo and Vilamoura.

Exterior Description

(1.7 hectares) Situated on a large estate in the countryside, this villa is located on top of a private hill and has wonderful views over the Algarve. The property is fenced and features a landscaped garden with a pond. The villa is built on three levels. The patio is furnished with a barbecue and a table with chairs and looks out to the swimming pool. The private swimming pool (12m x 6m), which is heated and surrounded by sun loungers. Although the gardener does live on the grounds, he does not use the swimming pool. An unpaved road of one kilometer leads to the villa and parking is available within the property grounds.

Lower ground floor: A staircase of 16 steps leads to this floor. There is a sitting room with couches, a ping-pong table, and a foosball table. There is a bedroom with two 100 cm single beds (which can be connected on request) and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Ground floor: The entrance to the villa leads to this floor. The living room is furnished with couches, armchairs, a fireplace, satellite TV, a DVD player, and glass doors opening to the terrace. Behind the couches is the dining area with a table and chairs. A door from the dining area leads to the kitchen, which is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and freezer. A guest bathroom nearby has a sink and toilet. There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has two 100 cm single beds (which can be connected on request), access to the terrace with views of the Algarve, and an ensuite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and a tub with a handheld shower. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, access to the terrace with views of the Algarve, and an ensuite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and a shower.
First floor: A staircase of 20 steps leads to this floor, where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has two 100 cm single beds (which can be connected on request), access to the terrace with views of the Algarve, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The second bedroom, which is the master, has a separate sitting area with windows, a dressing room with doors to the terrace and views of the Algarve, a 200 cm king-sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and large Jacuzzi tub.
