This Mediterranean-inspired villa in Barbados has columned galleries, arched doorways, and marble ensuite bathrooms that make it aesthetically pleasing as well. At the times when you're able to leave behind this haven of a vacation rental, visit the sites in Bridgeport and Holetown to learn about the local culture.

Location Description

Located on the prestigious Polo Ridge in the parish of St. James, this west coast villa is just a short distance to the beach. Referred to as the "Platinum Coast," St. James is known for having the calmest seas, the safest waters, and the softest sand. Many fun, interesting, and celebratory festivals are held throughout the year around the island, including the renowned Holetown Festival in February, which consists of fashion shows, street parades, live concerts, theatrical performances, and much more! Barbados is also a great place for the shopper, especially in the capital of Bridgetown. Broad Street has department stores, duty free shops, and other specialty boutiques whereas Pelican Village is a charming and picturesque outdoor center full of restaurants, art galleries, and craft stores. The island is very lively and has plenty of opportunities to play any kind of water sport, go golfing, and visit museums, all which allow you to make your schedule as busy or calm as you'd prefer.

Exterior Description

(1 acre) With views of the Caribbean Sea, this villa is situated on over an acre of gardens and surrounded by tropical landscaping. A covered walkway surrounds the courtyard, which has a private swimming pool (10ft x 24ft), sun loungers, tables, and chairs. There is a gazebo furnished with a dining table, chairs, and ceiling fans as well as views of the garden and sea.

Ground floor: The spacious living room has couches, armchairs, and ceiling fans, with views of the swimming pool, garden, and Caribbean Sea. There is also a study with a couch, armchair, and desk and a cozy family room with cable TV. A fully-equipped kitchen is staffed with a personal cook for every meal. There are four bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed, access to the patio, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds (which can be connected) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub. The fourth bedroom has two single beds (which can be connected) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.
First floor: There is one bedroom with a king-sized bed, private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub.

Available Amenities: Air conditioning in bedrooms, cable TV, VCR, fax machine, radio, washing machine, dryer, security system, BBQ, private swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court. This villa comes with a private cook (3 meals per day), laundress, and maid service, each available six days a week.

This is a non-smoking property.

This property can be rented with Villa Sun, which is next door, to accommodate an additional 8 people.
