About The Experience

The fact that this Barbados holiday accommodation gets its name from the lily pond on the property grounds makes the whole atmosphere feel more than a little enchanting. Not only is the garden of this villa in the Caribbean full of trees, like most enchanted forests, but it also looks out into the beautiful blue sea. For the times you don't feel like lifting a finger, not even for a bite to eat, just let your personal chef know what you feel like so it can be prepared especially for you!

Location Description

This villa is located near the exclusive Sandy Lane Beach in the parish of St. James. Referred to as the "Platinum Coast," St. James is known for having the calmest seas, the safest waters, and the softest sand. Many fun, interesting, and celebratory festivals are held throughout the year around the island, including the renowned Holetown Festival in February, which consists of fashion shows, street parades, live concerts, theatrical performances, and much more! Barbados is also a great place for the shopper, especially in the capital of Bridgetown. Broad Street has department stores, duty free shops, and other specialty boutiques whereas Pelican Village is a charming and picturesque outdoor center full of restaurants, art galleries, and craft stores. The island is very lively and has plenty of opportunities to play any kind of water sport, go golfing, and visit museums, all which allow you to make your schedule as busy or calm as you'd prefer.

Bridgetown: 10-minute drive
Sandy Lane Beach: 3-minute drive

Exterior Description

(2 acres) This villa is situated on almost two acres of garden and has beautiful panoramic views of the West Coast and Caribbean Sea. The gardens have a lily pond with a walkover bridge and a private swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. There are two outdoor dining patios, each with ceiling fans and views of the gardens and pool and an outdoor gazebo is furnished with a table and chairs. Please be aware that as of July 2011, there will be construction occuring across the street and is expected to be completed in 18 months. Please be aware that there will be sounds of construction during this time.

Interior Description

Main House
Ground floor: The main entrance to the villa leads directly to the living area where there are couches, armchairs, ceiling fans, a fountain, a round table with chairs, and access to the patio and garden. There is a separate dining room with a table and chairs and a fully-equipped kitchen that is staffed with a personal cook for every meal. The first, second, and third bedrooms each have two single beds (which can be connected upon prior requests) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub while the fourth bedroom has two single beds (which cannot be connected) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub.

Cottage
Ground floor: There one bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower and separate Jacuzzi tub.

Features Description

Available Amenities: Air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, VCR, fax machine, ADSL internet connection, washing machine, dryer, private swimming pool. This villa comes with a private cook (3 meals per day), laundress, and maid service, each available six days a week.

Please Note:

In every room but one, two single beds can be connected to form one king-sized bed upon request.

Two week minimum rentals are required over the Christmas/New Year period.
