Enjoyed Most:
View was terrific and the best feature of the place. Location for Sorrento was excellent.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Patio furniture did not have canopies for shade. The downstairs part needs attention to make it comfortable. No key for downstairs unit to secure at night.
Surrounding Area:
Great walking and proximity to restaurants at local towns.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa Lubrense. Fairly long walk.

Overall:
We absolutely loved it and would recommend it to most folks, except couples - and only because of the twin beds. Highly recommended for those wishing tranquility and a spectacular view.
Enjoyed Most:
We absolutely loved Aragosta. The view was simply breathtaking, the neighbors, Katia and Lucio, were charming and very helpful when we needed it, and Lucio was a wonderful tenor! The surrounding area was peaceful, with wonderful small streets for walking and driving. Off the beaten path, which is what we sought. Excellent restaurants right in the area. Zoe was very helpful, particularly in helping us retrieve one of our passports left at a previous villa.
Unpleasant Surprises:
We had a few kinks to initially figure out. The circuit breaker triggered easily and it took some doing to fix it. Zoe was extremely fastidious in getting this resolved, though. We specifically chose this place because we were five independent adults traveling, but if it were couples traveling, then twin beds would be undesirable. It was a positive for us, though. Maid service in the kitchen could have been a bit better. Details for using the washing machine would also be great.
Surrounding Area:
The VIEW VIEW VIEW!!!! The outdoor canopy was delightful, particularly when it showered. It was a short distance St. Agata as well as Positano and Sorrento. The restaurants were all very, very good, but our favorite was in the very small town of St. Francesco, I believe. It is listed in the pamphlet at the villa. Simply delicious! We particularly enjoyed being so close to everything, yet off the beaten path of tourists. The thunderstorms at night and early morning were refreshing. We also loved the neighbor's little kitty, Rampi. We would be happy to converse with anybody wishing more information on this particular villa or the entire area. We drove all over many many times and delighted in the entire experience.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Massa di Lubrense. Not within close walking distance but we walked to the harbor area and back. Just be prepared for a lot of straight downhill, then uphill.
Tips or Restaurants:
Restaurant in St. Francesco. I would be sure to bring matches, and always locate candles and something for light. Thunderstorms frequently took the power out. The local produce and goods were splendid and reasonably priced.

Overall:
All four of us were thrilled with our visit to Aragosta. The place is fantastic, the view is fantastic and the people of Massa Lubrense were fabulous to us. The only negative would be that the living room furniture was uncomfortable.
