Overall:
Very well run...very accommodating.
Enjoyed Most:
The location is wonderful to take day trips to so many other towns, all within an hour. If you decide to just "hang out", just walk out the door and up the steps past the church to two very nice restaurants with very good food, fabulous wine, thin crust pizza, and incredible vistas. At the other end of town you can sample wine and olive oil.
Unpleasant Surprises:
It was all good. It's small but accommodates three people nicely. We looked at the larger units and if traveling with more than three...seek them out. They are gorgeous.
Surrounding Area:
The views look just like the pictures-paintings that you've seen in all your art history books. Spectacular!
Nearby Events or Locales:
You're in town. You can go to this tiny little market around the corner or walk down the main street to another large one.
Tips or Restaurants:
Go and enjoy yourself. There isn't a restaurant that we went to that wasn't good. If you drive out to Cortona, go to the Grotto. I salivate just thinking about the food. Driving out of town, on your right about five minutes there's a beautiful restaurant on the right side of the road. It's a brick and stone house with garden. Across the street is a vineyard. There's a green sign outside with a drawing of a pope...the name has something to do with a pope. We left the name with the property manager. The menu changes daily depending on what is available locally. The food is to die for.

Overall:
Overall, a nice little apartment that makes you feel at home.
Enjoyed Most:
The village it is located in. The tasteful renovation. The view from the pool. The view from the bathroom.
Unpleasant Surprises:
That it is detached from the rest of the main property. The noise coming from Unit 5 located directly above the bedroom can become annoying.
Surrounding Area:
Perfectly located in the center of Tuscany. You can do day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, etc...
Nearby Events or Locales:
It is in the village of Baberino.
Tips or Restaurants:
The two restaurants on each side of the church are great with a preference to the one on the right side facing the church.
Directions:
Emphasize the fact that the directions work even if you are coming from Roma. It is faster that cutting across the Chianti area...
Check In Out:
Cecilia was wonderful and extremely helpful.

Overall:
A beatiful spot for relaxing, recovering and enjoying time with friends.
Enjoyed Most:
What superb views from the pool. As well as the warm welcome from the on-site manager. The town itself was a glorious Tuscan village, with easy access to all the local sights as well as Florence and the rest of Tuscany.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The apartment was a little far from the pool. THe main road was a little noisy going past the property, paricularly at peak hour.
Surrounding Area:
All the small villages and towns, vineyards and the sensational sunsets. I felt on top of the world. The local restaurant was fantastic, great food at good prices with local hospitality.
Nearby Events or Locales:
We were in a town, right in the middle, so easy access.
Tips or Restaurants:
The local restaurant was so excellent it was hard to bother going farther afield. It would have been nice to have a CD player to play music.
