Enjoyed Most:
The ambiance. Being in an old village with the church and steeple bells was very quaint.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Parking. There were several times when a dispute occurred over who was to park in front of the villa. 1 car never moved - for 2 weeks. It arrived the day we got there and was still there when we left. It never went away, never moved. We had no hot water for the first day, but after a phone call to the property manager it was rectified - somehow. No one actually explained anything
Surrounding Area:
The culture and sounds and smells and, and, and....
Nearby Events or Locales:
Villeneuve Les Avignon or Les Angles. Neither were within walking distance. One of the couples was impaired and it made driving an essential part of the day.
Tips or Restaurants:
Annick was very pleasant, but very difficult to understand. Actually we have no idea what she said, either when we arrived or the day we left.

Overall:
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it. The house manual that was left in the kitchen was extremely helpful and Annick was extraordinarily kind to us - she's very charming.
Enjoyed Most:
The view is the obvious, of course. Seeing the TGV go by every few minutes was a treat that never grew tiring. The visiting cats and frequent songbirds also kept us captivated. We look forward to going back as soon as possible.
Unpleasant Surprises:
I must say if we have to say anything negative, it was a bit dusty, and it would have been nice if the plants and herbs outside had not been dead. The toaster seems a bit old and only toasted bread in the middle. The shower fluctuated between very hot and very cold each time it was used. I would also tell renters to make sure they rent a very small car, since the parking out front can be very tricky with the neighbor's car.
Surrounding Area:
The area could not have been more charming, it was truly out of a storybook.
Nearby Events or Locales:
I would not say within walking distance, but a 5-6 minute drive was all it took to get most things needed.
Tips or Restaurants:
The best thing about the place is the kitchen and its view.
Check In Out:
We loved meeting Annick. She went above and beyond to help us.

Enjoyed Most:
We had a great time at La Maison des Amis. The house was exactly as described, and was a perfect fit for us!
Unpleasant Surprises:
The only problem we had was the parking, which wasn't always
available in front of the house.
