This Amalfi Coast villa is secluded, yet still within easy reach of the many nearby villages, and so it makes a perfect hideaway for those who seek both privacy and proximity to the local activities.

The villa is located outside of the small town of Maiori on the Amalfi Coast. Maiori offers all basic facilities, including restaurants, shops, banks, bars, and a post office. There is bus stop (SITA BUS) 100 meters from the gate of the villa that provides service to Maiori, Amalfi, Positano, and Sorrento. Ferries and hydrofoils offer daily service (in April - October) from Minori to Amalfi (10 minutes), Capri (1½ hours), Positano (20 minutes), Ischia (2½ hours), and Salerno (1 hour). Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.

(190 m2 of terraces) The property is accessible via a remote-controlled gate and a gently sloping private driveway of approximately 1.5 km; however the drive is narrow, so only small cars. It is partly shaded by fragrant pines, olive trees, and thick Mediterranean vegetation, all cascading down to the sea. Parking for 2 cars is available on the property. From the parking area, guests enter the paved terrace, which has an attractive, completely private, sea-water swimming pool. The pool area has flowering plants, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, and an outdoor shower, as well as lovely views of the sea. Nine steps lead up to a cane-covered terrace with dining table for twelve. Two French glass doors lead into the house.

(280 m2) Two floors. The spacious interior has recently been restored and nicely redecorated with a mixture of modern and antique furnishings, combining comfort with traditional and contemporary design. The décor complements the terracotta tile floors and thick, whitewashed walls.
Ground floor: There is a bright, airy, spacious, open-plan living and dining area. The living area has three comfortable sofas and a glass table. The satellite TV and telephone are also in this room. The dining area is on a slightly raised level and has a table for 10 people, as well as French doors leading to the side courtyard. There is a wonderful fully-equipped kitchen and a laundry room. This floor has two bedrooms inside the house. One bedroom has three single beds (190cm x 80cm each) and an en suite bathroom (has WC, sink, bidet, shower cubicle with wall-mounted shower and no door or curtain). (See blue bathroom in photos). The other bedroom has a double bed (190cm x 160cm), French doors that lead to the terrace at the rear of the house, and an en suite bathroom (has WC, sink, bidet, shower cubicle with wall-mounted shower and no door or curtain).
First floor: Sixteen steps lead to the first floor. There is a bedroom with two antique, wrought iron twin beds (100cm x 190cm each), wooden parquet flooring, a wicker armchair, and three steps that lead to a balcony area overlooking the sea. Another spacious bedroom has a double bed (190cm x 160cm), wooden parquet flooring, a window with a view of the pool and the sea, and three steps that lead up to a balcony area overlooking the sea. Each of these two bedrooms has an adjacent full bathroom (with tub, handheld showerhead, sink, WC, bidet).

Available Amenities: Sea-water swimming pool (17m x 5.6m, open June 3 - October 14) with outdoor shower, ironing facilities, two washing machines, dishwasher, satellite TV, heating and air conditioning throughout, telephone for incoming and outgoing calls, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, electric oven, stove with four gas burners, parking area for 3 - 4 cars.
Extra Services: English-speaking manager on call. Food delivery service, private chef service, and babysitting service are all available for an additional cost. Guests receive three hours per day of maid service (Monday – Friday), with a linen change once a week. If desired, extra hours of maid service (approximately €10/hour, payable locally) may be requested at the time of booking.
