This property is located off the panoramic road between the historical town of Massalubrense and the end of the Sorrento Peninsula. The area of Massalubrense embraces most of the Sorrento Peninsula, a territory which faces the Gulf of Naples to the north and the Gulf of Salerno to the south, ending at Punta Campanella. Sorrento offers shops and services, a hospital, and a hydrofoil to Naples, Positano, Amalfi and Capri. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.

(500 m2) Villa Bellasera is located in a private and exclusive cul-de-sac. The property consists of two separate apartments on two levels. The apartments can be rented together or separately. It is a sun-drenched villa, in the midst of lush gardens and surrounded by olive groves. There is a Mediterranean terraced garden, spreading on three levels, with a large swimming pool on the top. From the terraces of the villa one enjoys spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples and its islands. A paved walk starting from the road below winds its way through olive and lemon groves, before arriving at the picturesque fishing village of Marina della Lobra. It joins the network of ancient pedestrian roads that travel just about anywhere in the Sorrento Peninsula. A rental car is recommended. There are parking spaces at the villa.

(200m2) The villa is furnished in a simple, coastal fashion.
Ground Floor Apartment (100m2): There is a sitting room with two sofas and a dining area with two French doors leading to a terrace equipped with patio furniture and an electric awning. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, electric oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is a bedroom with double bed and French doors to a large private terrace; a twin bedroom (can be made into a double upon request) with panoramic window; and another twin bedroom with simple furnishings (suitable for children or young adults only.) There is one bathroom with shower (no tub), one WC, and a utility room with laundry facility.
First Floor Apartment (100m2): The entrance is from the back terrace and leads into a sitting room with French doors leading to a smaller terrace with an awning. The kitchen has a dining area and French doors leading to a small terrace. There is a double bedroom with French doors to a small private terrace; a twin bedroom (can be made into a double upon request); and another twin bedroom with simple furnishings (suitable for children or young adults only.) There are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with WC, sink, and bidet only. There is a separate level with a wisteria covered pergola equipped with beautiful garden furniture, offering captivating views.

Available amenities: dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, TV (no English channels) and radio in the first floor apartment, heating in the ground floor apartment only, swimming pool (15m x 4m, depth 1m to 1.5m, open from May 14 - September 24) with shower on upper level of the property. 8 hours of maid service are included per week.
Extra Services: In house catering on request for groups of more than 6 people. Additional maid service is available upon request and is payable locally.

Overall:
Well equipped, although only two of the double beds were a decent size for couples. The rest of us with partners had to either snuggle up very close or sleep in small, separate twin beds
Enjoyed Most:
The wonderful views, the barbecue and wood oven, the delightful Rita, who cooked us a great meal on our first night and the proximity (via some healthy steps which helped work up an appetite!) of both the town and the marina.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The bed sizes (see above) and the electricity, which kept going down at the most awkward times.
Surrounding Area:
Great walking country, excellent selection of restaurants (in fact it was impossible to have a bad meal), the friendliness of the locals and the fun we had shopping for food. It was good to be able to book boat trips from the harbour, to buy fish from the fishermen and pick our own herbs from the garden.
Tips or Restaurants:
All those restaurants recommended in the house book were definitely worth a try.

Overall:
We had a wonderful time at this property. We knew that we rented a nice villa at a nice location, but to tell you the truth, we all became speechless when we first arrived in front of the house. The villa itself, although not the most luxurious we've seen, was very spacious, simple but pleasantly decorated and very clean. We thought that with some little touches it could turn into an exquisite property. The local manager was very attentive during our stay. Also the two cleaning ladies were very kind and careful not to disturb us.
It was overall an unforgetable week and we all hope to go back.
Enjoyed Most:
The view was stunning with thousands of olive trees around the garden cascading towards the little bay below the house. It was late April and the region (including our garden) was filled with lemon trees with lemons as big as my head. What a joy it was to wake up with their smell to that beautiful view.
Unpleasant Surprises:
We had some problems with hot water and heating on both floors as evenings were quite cool but none of us cared much because as soon as we stepped onto the garden, it was paradise.
Surrounding Area:
We were very happy about the proximity of the villa to towns like Sorrento, Positano and Capri Island. We could tour around very easily and let me not forget to mention that we had unbelievably delicious food all week long in the nearby restaurants.
