Enjoyed Most:
The living room with the wall to ceiling windows all along one side. These opened out to the most amazing view. You could step out side from these windows onto a tiled balcony where we spent all of our evenings. The bedrooms had character, lovely art decorating the rooms and the swimming pool area was great, too. We had loads of space. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the games room that was huge, too.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The kitchen needed updating and the billiard room and downstairs bedrooms smelled a little bit damp. We also needed a drying line to hang our towels and bed linen. We had to buy cleaning products, which we didn't appreciate. We wish that it had been a pool table, rather than billiards. The ping pong paddles need to be replaced.
Surrounding Area:
Sorrento is worth a visit, and the amazing drive along the Amalfi Coast to Ravello is wonderful.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Santa Agata was a 10 minute drive away. We bought our food at the local supermarket and there are plenty of cafes and a great ice cream shop.
Tips or Restaurants:
Couldn't find nappie sacks to put the dirty nappies in, so bring lots. Bring cream for insect bites. Bring some of your own music CDs.

Enjoyed Most:
The views were stunning! The outside area for eating is also great. The pool arrangement, away from the house, also worked well for us. Both Gallia and Rosaria were excellent. Rosaria, in particular, was always helpful and courteous and went a long way to making our stay successful.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The kitchen was of a poor standard. There were also some plugs which were dangerous. There was work being done near the house, which disturbed our peace and quiet and privacy.
Surrounding Area:
Capri was beautiful and there were some lovely restaurants.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Sant' Agata - but this was a bit of a trek.
Tips or Restaurants:
Definitely go to Capri! Whilst there we had a chef for one evening, which Rosaria organised for us. The food was delicious and the people who came to the villa were delightful. Do not expect to find beaches - there are none of note!

Overall:
Our stay at the villa was a wonderful and a memorable experience, and the villa was actually more lovely than we expected. I know that people are very quick to report complaints and usually don't take the time if things were favorable, so I wanted you to know we were more than satisfied.
Enjoyed Most:
The villa was wonderful and we were more than delighted. It was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. To wake up each morning and have coffee on that terrace was heaven. No problem with hot water even though there were 9 of us. My daughter, who is a great cook, was in seventh heaven, cooking with all of the wonderfully fresh produce, fish, cheeses, etc. she purchased locally. We also sampled local restaurants and made an almost nightly trip to S. Agata for the delicious gelato. There was not an inferior meal to be had anywhere. It was great!! Coming back after a day's tour and going into that wonderful, large and sparkling clean pool was delightful. Elena, the maid, couldn't have been sweeter or nicer, and we managed to make ourselves understood. Maneuvering the narrow road to the property was daunting at first but we quickly got used to it and learned to always turn in our side mirrors. We all fell in love with the resident dog in his enclosed pen.
Unpleasant Surprises:
Once or twice there were too many electrical appliances on at the same time and the circuit breaker was tripped but we soon got the hang of it and one night the stove propane tank was empty and we had no gas, but I called Rosaria and it was replaced within 15 minutes or so.
