This property is located off the panoramic road between the historical town of Massalubrense and the end of the Sorrento Peninsula. The area of Massalubrense embraces most of the Sorrento Peninsula, a territory which faces the Gulf of Naples to the north and the Gulf of Salerno to the south, ending at Punta Campanella. Sorrento offers shops and services, a hospital, and a hydrofoil to Naples, Positano, Amalfi and Capri. Blue SITA busses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA sign. Driving times are: Ravello to Amalfi, 15 minutes; Amalfi to Positano, 30 minutes; Positano to Sorrento, 35 minutes.

(500 m2) Villa Bellasera is located in a private and exclusive cul-de-sac. The property consists of two separate apartments on two levels. The apartments can be rented together or separately. It is a sun-drenched villa, in the midst of lush gardens and surrounded by olive groves. There is a Mediterranean terraced garden, spreading on three levels, with a large swimming pool on the top. From the terraces of the villa one enjoys spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples and its islands. A paved walk starting from the road below winds its way through olive and lemon groves, before arriving at the picturesque fishing village of Marina della Lobra. It joins the network of ancient pedestrian roads that travel just about anywhere in the Sorrento Peninsula. A rental car is recommended. There are parking spaces at the villa.

(100m2) 45 steps. Ground Floor Apartment: There is a sitting room with two sofas and a dining area with two French doors leading to a terrace equipped with patio furniture and an electric awning. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, electric oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is a bedroom with double bed and French doors to a large private terrace; a twin bedroom (can be made into a double upon request) with panoramic window; and another twin bedroom with simple furnishings (suitable for children or young adults only.) There is one bathroom with shower (no tub), one WC with toilet, sink, and bidet only, and a utility room with laundry facility.

Available amenities: dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, heating, swimming pool (15m x 4m, depth 1m to 1.5m, open from May 14 - September 24) with shower on upper level of the property. 4 hours of maid service are included per week.
Extra Services: In house catering on request for groups of more than 6 people. Additional maid service is available upon request and is payable locally.
Nearby attractions: Fishing village of Marina della Lobra (2.5 km by car, 1 km by foot), Capri, Sorrento, Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, coastal walking trails.

Overall:
Better than we anticipated. I think it is the best location on the Sorrento Peninsula!
Enjoyed Most:
The view was stunning along with the incredible gardens!
Unpleasant Surprises:
The kitchen pots, pans, knives could use upgrading. The washing machine was tricky to use.
Surrounding Area:
Perfect location to see all of the Sorrento peninsula. Close to everything yet away from the town. Great small port and town with good amenities! Loved Capri!
Tips or Restaurants:
Le Torre in Annunciata - great family-owned restaurant with awesome service.
Directions:
Directions were good - we had a few last minute turns we could have missed in Sorrento.

Zoe was great! She speaks English and was very helpful.

Overall:
The property was excellent and the service (Rita, the housekeeper and Mario, her husband the gardener) were extremely helpful and wonderful people. Although they spoke no English and my command of Italian is limited, we got along very well.

Nicer than the pictures on the Internet. Very clean.
Enjoyed Most:
The location, it was very relaxing and secluded. It may not have been the case if someone had stayed in the other apartment.
Unpleasant Surprises:
When we used the dishwasher, the power went off 3 times.

The view over the bay of Naples, the quietness of Massa Lubrense.
Nearby Events or Locales:
Good walking tracks to the port marina della lobra. People in the village of Massa Lubrense were friendly.
Tips or Restaurants:
It is easy to catch the bus in to Sorrento and better than driving there and trying to find a park. Go to Angelo's Bar down at the marina.
